Well as a person that was waiting for this game since 2018 i was kind of disapointed. However im gonna still say that i did enjoyed my time playing this game and even streamed it once it was fully released. One thing i didnt really enjoyed was maps and not design or visuals, but rather how huge they are....REALLY HUGE! My advice is to play 1-2 maps max per session.

Half-Rats: Parasomnia its an interesting project ngl, but it has multitude of problems that must be adressed:
- Game tend to have serious fps drops in certain areas(namely in ones with many dynamic lights)
- Certain aspects of sound design are more than annoying(extra loud wending machine with such a crunchy quality that at times it makes base HL sounds absolutely amazing)
- There's no "good" enemies to fight with. They're either push overs or the worsts things design by another human being
- Certain parts straight up requieres items to survive, otherwise you'll just softlock yourself(i did one of these parts by literally exploiting GoldSoruce's crappy melee hit detection while streaming it)
- You can outright miss essetial items or even weapons(i didnt found double-barelled shotgun even tho b4 end of 2md or 3rd chapter i had max 12 gauge ammo)
- I understand that creators wanted to make survival horror game, but holy hell is this game 1st dark AF and 2nd its so inconsistent with items(1st half of the game seems very survival with rarely available items, the 2nd half however tends to straight give you loads of items and im not meaning when you "secret hunt")
- Bosses are just joke. Not gonna spoil you anything about them, but lets just say that ones you figure out how to do them they're pushovers
- Maps at times have really bad "guidance" toward objectives or show what you supposed to do
- Hit detection is kinda ♥♥♥♥, i've lost the amount of times ive shot guys in the same and its didnt count as headshot
So as you can see they are plenty of problems with this game, but it has few things that actually make it interesting to just check it out even despite issues:
+ Set in 19th century its a thing pretty rarely done for survival horror + its a continuation of previous mod by same developer "Half-Rats: A Fever Dream
+ Certainly the more "open" gameworld makes it really interesting to explore and even going back to previous location(even it might just to pick items you couldnt b4)
+ Melee combat even it its seems kinda underdeveloped, its not a bad addition to the game happening in 19th century
+ Entire economic system its an surprising spin in survival horror
+ For a HL mod its really damn long(i got 9hours on this mod which is impressive)
+ Atmosphere its pretty spooky at times with nice ambient sounds
+ Some enemies disigns are cool ngl

At the end i will consider recommending this mod, its free and for a HL based project even with all of the issues its fine game to play

This game is ridiculous..and i love it. POSTAL 2 originally realeased around 2004, running on "modified" Unreal Engine 2 was an ugly and "offensive" game in its realease. The only reason i bought it on Steam was THE DLC for it: Paradise Lost....and it was a BLAST! Some new things there are really made out of common sense rather just "throwing ♥♥♥♥ and see what sticks".

Pros:
-Pretty cheap in Bundle
-Uses a "Week in Paradise" addons for many, MANY aspects of game(weapons, characters model, gore system etc.)
-After many years of SJW crap, finally play game that doesnt throw all the SJW ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at you, even outright laughing at it. Its just SO REFRESHING!
-Game its self-aware
-DLC adds some neat stuff(vendors machines for "too much cash", "Cats for Cash vendors for "too much ♥♥♥♥♥....cats, new items and weapons for player to use) that were added.

Cons:
-Its looks and runs like ♥♥♥♥!(i was playing on Lenovo Y530 from '08 and it was crashing a lot and in bigger gunfights framerate was dropping to single digits)
-I guess i could say that content might be not appropreate for nayone, but then if people who dislikes this kind of content would even consider buy this game in the 1st place

Quake 4.....♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that's a really interesting case when id's software masterpiece wasn't done by then, but still Raven Software done a damn good job at making a good game....even a Quake game. It might not feel like quake at certain aspects, yet its still an old-school shooter at heart.
One advice for anyone who would like to try it out, but heard some "negative" things about it: Dont listen to this crap and just play it....you wont regret it.

Blood: Fresh Supply is a "remaster"(more like repackage) running on KEX Engine(instead of Build Engine which was powering original) of a '98 shooter with lots of horror and 80-90s pop culture references. It is probably the best way to play Blood on newer systems without playing around with DOS-Box or BloodGDX. This might have some balancing usues comparing to original, but if you havent play it already you wont notice it. Game tend to crash(especially on quick loads), but expect of that its same game with some great modern additions. I'm not gonna lie by saying that its one of the, if not the HARDEST of old-school fps games. Its outright brutal and crushing, but that's the kind of difficulty which put hairs on your chest.

I highly recomend this remaster, because people who worked on this thing knew and loved what they were doing. Also ~10 $ price tag its pretty fair considering that you got at least around 20 hours of uncomprimised old-school bloodbath.

Valve's 1998 Half-Life its an amazing game. It takes to journey through depths of Black Mesa Research Facilities (not only) and puts you in a H.E.V suit of Gordon Freeman who have to survive in a "warzone" which Black Mesa became....game being 20 years old it shows its age in graphics (which is obvious) but in terms of story telling its unravell. This game is so good that its sequel realesed in 2004 is worse than '98 even if sequel got a downride amazing physics. In my opinion every gamer should play it at least once in their live.

P.S After you're done with original...i recomend go and download Brutal Half-Life <---with this shooting in HL games will never be better

Quake 3 Arena my old love...how much i play it its beyond me. Game is immortal which one of the sign its fact that still u can find populated servers(well, maybe not in the degree like it was in '99-01). Games holds up in any aspect possible.
Last thing what i'll say its THE BEST example of multiplayer which is simple and complex at the same time, without any CODField bullshittery.
