The campaign is forgettable, the story is kind of stupid, and the characters are forgettable. So... pretty much 100% Battletech there, we're here for the stompy robots, and boy are they ever stompy. Look into mods, particularly ones that ignore the story.

I look forward to the inevitable Dragonfall to this game's Shadowrun Returns. Hopefully something set during the Clan invasion.

The developers frequently take two steps forward and one step back with their decisions, and believe tedium and cheap crap is a suitable substitute for difficulty.

The grind is constant until you get to the top, until the recent advent of Riven mods, where RNG now endeavors to make the grind constant.

The physics engine and AI will occasionally conspire to push you to the peak of frustration, as missions occasionally become entirely unable to be completed.

Still immensely statisfying being a badass space ninja.

Still fun.
