A disappointing step backwards for the genre gameplay wise. I commend the effort but unfortunately I can not recommend this gameplay. Into The Breach does most of the same things better, for longer, and more transparently with the player.

I never knew that I could have fun discovering words I couldn't understand.
The world is great, invites you to explore it, and the language mechanic is incredibly memorable.

Cute characters and fun mechanics. I want to hug more than half the cast. Most episodes are fun, with only a few frustrating exceptions. There are some unintuitive interactions between some mechanics, but they almost always benefit the player and it's part of the fun of discovering the depth of the game.
