infested with blatant cheating, not the aimbotting kind though those sometimes show up but the kind with ESP/wallhack. If you're lucky the community server you play on has active admins and can remove them quickly. you'll mostly see this kind of issue from high ping players since they dont care about being banned from a non local server

you'll often be shot while prone in grass and be thinking wtf, long grass/wheat doesn't render at a certain point so you most likely got picked off by someone far away. something the devs should've fixed by now

if you're having troubles detecting if somone is cheating normally they will be around 1000 combat effectiveness, the average person who had a great round is around 500 points

you can absolutely have a good time if both sides aren't doing it and those games are obvious when legit players are around.flanks will work, you won't get prefired (this one is the easy one to spot if they are cheating), and people actually miss their shots instead of being assisted, amazing right not everyone is a professional player


its a struggle to get people to do the bare minimum of team work such as dropping supply so the engy can build nodes, something that was prevalent in the early days of the game but forgotten by the newer players
everyone plays for themselves it really feels like im playing with bots a lot of the time, just mindless players doing nothing

the game still doesn't run as well as it should regardless of settings and your snake oil fixes

Non existent developers that refuse to fix game breaking exploits, zero anti cheat which is just stupid to not have as we have evidence of players nightvision cheating,speed hacking,aimbotting and god knows what else
if you're a new player there's a high chance you'll be labelled as an "alt" which is someone from the other team playing on another account to grief, which will result in you being mass reported and temp banned

infantry combat is rubbish with your enemy running around like an idiot has a higher chance of landing a shot on you, than you actively taking the time to aim
i really do wish the infantry combat wasn't so bad but its just so full of RNG that even tightly aimed shots even miss im looking at you Omen rifle and Sniper rifles.
If someone gets into melee range you might as well give up as your weapon even a pistol will cease to fire at point blank while you get bayoneted down in 1 shot by some guy spamming the screenshot key to warp around to be unhittable

i haven't had much experience with vehicle combat but it seems pretty brain-dead easy point and click and hope the shot pens. from the outsider perspective you see a tank line move up, take one shot, move back to the starting point. now repeat this for hours with them retreating further back during night times to avoid ambushes. also back and side shots from AT and tank rounds can still bounce which is beyond annoying

Indirect fire is a bit harder with the spotter needing to account for the wind direction and strength and from there adjusting after some test rounds. in this current war the wind has been against my team the majority of the time, so we lose so much range on our tools.

building and upkeep is tedious and is a great way to burn yourself out but dont worry the enemy will set their alarm for 4am so its low pop and afk pve all your work down much like being offline raided in rust

farming materials consists of you using a macro to hold down mouse1 so you don't get carpal tunnel as the devs refuse to add the function
they added facilities recently and to me looks pretty complicated and reminds me of mid game factorio which might be okay for some but again is tarnished by the high cost of upkeep

my knowledge of sea logi is outdated but my 4 attempts at doing it has caused me to disconnect and lose my boat which holds 5 containers each, each one hold 60 crates of items. let that sink in how much gear that is lost due server issues

you know that tank you farmed so hard for, well if you go offline don't expect it to be there as team mates, enemies or alt's will steal it

racism and hate speech is really only met with temp muting and not perma bans or perma mutes

want to climb up a rock well good luck you have now fallen out of the map or trapped into free fall requiring you to die or just quit, if you do however manage to climb something theres a good chance you'll be bounced around the terrain like its pinball

server performance suffers if there's to many buildings around causing you to lag unbearably when you go around those parts which could be un-avoidable due it being a logi hub
If there''s too many people fighting then the server hampster dies and folks warp around, you rubber band

if one side is overpopulated they will be smacked with 50second respawn times and the other side is around 10seconds unless they die quickly, because of this population problem people cant enter maps which means no logi support, no heavy weapons like tanks or arty


all in all while there have been moments I've had fun the sheer amount of glaring issues with this game really out weighs the positives and the devs need a kick in the ass and i have no hope for their next game
