Well, I recently got the endings A, B, C, D and E of the game (the main endings) in addition to having completed 93% of the total missions of the game, so you could say that I ''have passed the game'', so I decided to make an analysis to enlighten the way of all those hesitant individuals who do not know whether to buy this work of art. The answer?: probably yes.

If you don't know anything about the Nier saga, it's very likely that you think this game is just another hack'n'slash, with a bit of fanservice and where the fun is in looking under 2B's skirt. If that's what you have in mind, you couldn't be more wrong.

For starters, it has a great story, very well elaborated with a somewhat intricate background, which will make you have to pay some attention if you want to learn the plot, and you will end up hooked after a few hours. The game takes place on a devastated Earth where machines have taken over and the few remaining humans have fled to the moon. You will take control of 2B, 9S and A2, characters that at the beginning will probably give you the feeling that they are totally flat and synthetic (never better said), but that will be developed in a remarkable way throughout the game (believe me you will end up getting fond of them, or at least some affection :3), and with whom you will have to solve the mysteries behind the invasion of robots.

This game provides many hours of gameplay and the option to replay it as many times as you want, all thanks to its large number of main missions, side missions (which by the way the vast majority have different phases), obtainable documents, secrets, and different endings, which add many extra hours if you want to complete the game at 100%, with the advantage that while you play you can witness some beautiful scenery and also quite large, all complemented by one of the strengths of this game: Its fabulous soundtrack, which contains from themes that will stimulate you to the maximum while fighting a boss, to themes of the most emotional in the sad moments that will make you at least cry inside.

As for the gameplay, the control is nice and not at all complex (at least if you play with a controller) and the typical combat style of a hack'n'slash: attack and dodge, which despite sounding monotonous, is enjoyable thanks to the number of possible combinations of weapons, with their respective combos, and the number of different enemies that will make you have to adopt different combat styles to not get too scalded. It also has a bullet hell touch that I personally love.

As for the graphics, I am not one of those who think that a game is better the better graphics it has, but I do believe that they help to have that feeling of immersion, and although the graphics of this game are not the wonder of the XXI century, they are good enough to fulfill its function and are definitely at the height of a current game.

And because not everything could be good, we finish with the technical section. Let's be honest, the PC port is bad. For starters, at the time I write this review you can not play the game at 1080p in full screen, if you choose the 1920x1080 resolution in settings, the game will rescale it to 720p (even if you mark that it is at 1080p). In addition there are many people who complain that when playing in full screen they see stripes ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around the entire screen and they are very annoying. To top it all off, the cinematics are set at 30FPS and believe me, playing at 60FPS and then suddenly a cinematic appears and it's at 30FPS is very annoying. And to top it all off, the game crashes, and you're thinking ''well all games crack from time to time don't they'', but the problem is that it crashes a lot. In 50 hours played I've played the game 5 times, which although it sounds a little is a lot and if you go to the comments of the page you will see that many people also happens to him (I've played 600 hours to CS: GO and it has only crashed 2 times, to contrast a little), but the worst of the crashes is not that you have to restart the game, is that the game does not have autosave (eye, I'm not saying that the manual save is bad), so if you have not saved recently you're going to have a laugh when it crashes after defeating that final boss that cost you so much to pass.
And don't forget to mention that if you have an AMD processor you will have problems to start the game, apparently many people say that if you have the drivers updated to date (as it should be), when you start the game you will see a white screen and you won't be able to play.
To me in particular these things do not affect me too much since I play at 720p to have higher FPS rate, my processor is intel and the edges ♥♥♥♥♥♥ does not happen to me, but all these things should be mentioned because they are very serious problems that have not yet been solved.

In short, it is a great game with lots of action and a deep plot with many feelings in between that when you complete it will make you ask yourself if you really have been worthy of witnessing such a work of art, while your eye sprouts a tear that caresses your cheek.
(Although they still have a lot of things to fix...)
