Horrible ai can have faction allies hopeless at defending their own boarder. Have had numerous historical games where japan stomps on china and has peace by 1939. Surely historical focuses should allow the ai to go to war with the same odds as they actually went to war with. Frontlines will shrink and enemies flood through a hole that never should have been there. UK ai will actively fight you in africa leaving britain virtually undefended killing the allies and ending the war swiftly. For this game to be good the ai needs to be improved massively and frontlines need to actually follow my armies advance and not open up massive gaps allowing me to capitulate. Mods save this game though and road to 56 and black ice are brilliant mods to spruce up this game.
