A thing of beauty...

I've been playing since day one, I was one of the lucky few to not experience any major game breaking bugs at launch and play at a somewhat smooth frame rate. That was all due to me fully switching over to PC after being a lifelong console gamer. I built my rig specifically in anticipation for this game and it was absolutely worth it.
After finally achieving 100% playing this game, this is an experience that I wish I had the pleasure of going back into for the first time. Being entirely new to this world and not knowing of the amazing storytelling adventure I was about to embark on. Naturally of course there's problems beyond engine issues. Character customization in this game is drastically downgraded to what is capable in the table top game and in-game lore. Lifepaths end up being meaningless in the grand scheme of things with only small minute differences in dialog choices, by the end of the prologue every V is essentially just a Street Kid. The open world needed more activities to do and more interaction with the inhabitants of the city. Prior issues I had with the game were resolved with the release of the 1.5 patch. Overall the story, world, gameplay, and characters you meet along the way make this game one of my all time favorites. Fully describing my time and full emotions I went through with this game within a few words is an impossible task.

Updated review after 100%ing Phantom Liberty and post Edgerunners: The game is simply a masterpiece chooms. I don't have the words. If you've only watched Edgerunners, please play the game it's a much more compelling and personal story you will not regret it.
