Hello fellow cat herder! You've recently come into possession of a group of warriors too rebellious, too new, or too lacking in certain faculties to be allowed into a proper outfit. These are the outcasts of Planetside 2. These are the misfits of the battl

What to say about Planetside 2...
For starters, I have a love/hate relationship with it, sometimes the fights are fun, other times its literally a dull campfest for 10 minutes because the enemy dumped all their population on the region you were in.
The lore, while basically non-existant ingame, can be found on the web with a quick search and is quite interesting, being that none of the factions are truly the "good guys".
The community for this game is great, albeit like most games there's a few rotten eggs, but for the most part they're friendly and will help new players settle in, which is good, considering the games extremely steep learning curve.
And by steep, I mean "falling off a cliff" steep.
Do not expect to instantly be good coming into this game, you will die, and you will die alot, as many players have sunken thousands of hours into PS2.
The F2P model of this game is also well made, being that there is nothing to make it pay to win, all the items you can purchase with real money can be bought with ingame currency too, the only things that cannot be purchased with ingame currency are cosmetics that make no difference to your gameplay, such as gold plated variants of guns, helmets, or a mutitude of colourful camouflage patterns.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend PS2 if you have the patience to learn the mechanics and improve upon your mistakes.
