There are so many armchair lawyers in the review section it's ridiculous. Keep on copy-pasting what twitter says about the privacy policy without reading it yourselves and keep on misinterpreting standard issue ToS that was accepted by GDPR.

This game is amazing and I've been having a ton of fun on it since playing. The game has a great mix of open mmo and survival with added building world exploration. I definitely recommend this game and I recommend ignoring people speaking out of their ***

The majority of negative reviews are rants about Terms and Agreements and about how to obtain new heroes. In less than a day these two issues have been addressed by the developers. New heroes are now more easily obtainable by just playing matches (gain currency by winning/losing), completing daily/weekly quests, and participating in events. Also, if you want to buy characters/skins with real money the devs have reduced the cost of everything by 30% which is now similar to that of LoL.

The terms and Agreements issue is a lot of misinformation being spread by people that just don't want the game to succeed or are fans of predecessor (the buy to play version of the game). People claim that the game is collecting all of our info including tax and web search history. There are laws in South Korea which force South Korean companies to put down the disclosure that this info may be used, but that only affects players that live in South Korea because by law they HAVE to provide this personal information. I would agree that this copy/paste terms from Korean to English is bad practice and the devs will be changing the terms to fit that of people NOT living in South Korea. Little Timmy in Kansas is not getting his tax info stolen.

(EDIT) Since this post the devs have addressed the confusion and revised the policy specifically for people living outside of Korea/Japan.

Also, the devs have given away 16 characters for free since launch (5 days ago).

The devs have been extremely responsive to feedback and because of this I have high hopes for this game's future.

Fun game. Needs more players. Fun though.

So much salt in a game full of sand. Recommended.

-There are many people complaining about release dates and pricing of the Kombat Pack, but the Kombat Pack is not the actual game and is entirely optional. Over time the Kombat Pack will drop in price, if not there may be places it can be bought for a discounted price. There are also people complaining about the PC issues on release day, but c'mon, we are all aware there may be server and bug issues on release and also knew they would be fixed in no time... and they were.

-Don't mind the small these two small things and you'll have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of fun kicking the hell out of your friends and random online players.

There are only a few issues with the game and those being

1. Minor Bugs including mouse cursor showing up in-game, but it can be handled by going into the steam overlay and back into game.

2. Future Hunters/Monsters will be DLC content.

Everything else about the game is just fine! There is a lot of DLC content in the Store, but a majority of those are only cosmetic DLC.

The game is a ton of fun and especially with a group of people you know. I already have 85hrs in the game and it has only been out for a week!

You will run into the d-bag players that choose the most annoying strategy just to win. but you can find those anywhere.
All in all, you will not be let down by this game.
