Here I am again writing another negative review about a game made by Chilla's Art. Believe me, I hate doing this but I have to be completely honest.
"Evie" was a massive disappointment. The visuals are just horrible. Everything is so dark and muddy that half the time I couldn´t tell what I was looking at.
The textures are ugly as well. Moving to the story, or more accurately, the lack of one. Evie tries so hard to be mysterious and "deep", but it just comes off as confusing for no reason. There's barely any context for what's happening, and whatever hints you do get feel random and disconnected. There's no tension, no buildup, no actual fear. Just lazy attempts to make you flinch.
If you're curious, watch a playthrough on Youtube or something. At least then you won't have to waste your money or patience.
