10 Days after release, I've still not been able to find a race in matchmaking for any event. Car list is embarrassingly bad. I wanted this to be good, REALLY BAD because I LOVE the first two games. But this? This is just broken. I don't believe the map scale is 1:1 either, close maybe, but it aint 1:1, the most important part of a TDU game.

I play a semi-concerning amount of American Truck Simulator. I do not like games, movies, TV shows, books, etc, set in space.

This game is awesome. If "you dont space" like me, the movement will take you a lot of getting used to. Just go slow, and braking/LT between changing truck pitch, then re-accelerating greatly helps control vertical travel angle.

Buy it, truck in space. The writing is better than I expected. I dont know if that writing continues, but I like it so far.

Just seems too jank to actually play through

I've played this game for 2hr and its the most fun I've had in a Indie sim game in a while. I'll update later.

1: You MUST disable Weapon Debris to play.
2: You really should mod it to fix the optimization/dated engine.
3: Its worth it though.

It definetly feels like what it is, a $1 recreation of a 20 year old game included with a bunch of junk from Microsoft a handful of people bought, that then tried to sell you the first microtransaction I ever encountered, more alleys.

You can make the OG work, if you're nerdy and bored enough, or just spend $1 on this.

Reminds me of Street Legal Racing Redline. Pretty fun, if youre a gear head you might even find it relaxing. Some of the career mode jobs are amusingly accurate (BMW E30 with loose front end, Mini Cooper with failed Timing and control arm bushings, Honda with bad plugs). Worth the buy on sale if you like casual games. I dont have the manufacturers DLCs, but the workshop seems to indicate they're a waste of money. Drag racing might be neat.
