Peak Slav Jank, just play it. Framerate be damned, it's that good.

This is a complicated one, but I genuinely find that the overall quality is worth the cost of admission. Sans performance issues, hit up your usual haunts for mods, and the guides section here on Steam for solutions that might help you, as they helped me.

TL;DR Version - If you like to do every side quest first, you have an easily 60+ hour experience ahead of you, if not more. If not you're in for about 40 hours of some of the tightest fantasy combat, wrapped in a really nice aesthetic with something for everyone.

Overall the game play is superb, not that it doesn't have it's rough edges, but still manages to be more engaging than frustrating. The classes are semi diverse and I recommend trying each out at least once, they offer a difference in play style that could be the spice you need to drive you further if you're getting bored.

The main story is admittedly short, and I hesitate to say whether that's a good thing or not. On one hand, there's a bevy of side quests available, on the other the story pretty much has a linear rise into the conflict until it's end. Given the lack of traditional fast travel, I would venture to grab as many side quests as you can and prioritize the timed ones. Otherwise you're fighting the same pack of whatever you just ran through on that road a bit ago, for ostensibly no reason.
(Even if it's pretty fun.)

As for the amount of content, while not necessarily as impressive, it isn't overbearing like the typical Open World affair that you'd get from say Ubisoft or other companies. It isn't condensed, and you will feel the strain that the games lack of fast travel provides. As you back track for a quest, nearly all the way back down the road you came down to acquire the quest in the first place.

It's genuinely fun and breaks through the negativity surrounding it in the wake of the cash shop shenanigans, I leave this at the end for those who might be on the fence. I never interacted with the cash shop even once, and the only thing I missed out on was a pair of glasses I kind of wanted. Which offer no stat bonuses, and is purely cosmetic.

It's created a wave of games trying to copy what it's done right, only time will tell if they match up to the quality of Into The Radius. It is the closest thing you can get to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in VR, and even if you're not already a fan. It's genuinely the best in it's class VR game, it's what other developers wish their game was.

How... What? WHO?! ♥♥♥♥ it, enough questions. Just pump that incredible gameplay right into my blood stream, and give me more. Eagerly watching for more from this developer, and with a rouge-like on the way, I'm sure to lose way more time to it than one could reasonably call sane.

Edit: It's still garbage, but I can slide cancel now. So I guess I'm about to lose more of my life to this trash.

Where to begin, every map is abysmal, this is before noting there are only 10 (and no, Rust is not one of them, nor has it been so much as alluded to returning, but hey you can have shipment back AGAIN) A second year novice could do better with their eyes stapled shut. Worse spawns than Black Ops 3, horrible layouts that choke out any team unfortunate enough to be on the wrong side of nearly every map. And Border Crossing... Just, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ why?
Weapons while feeling samey, already have a clear meta hierarchy, (if it shoots faster it's usually better).
The campaign while not too terribly egregious, is clearly written by the same people as did Vangaurd, not to mention the bizarrely artificial difficulty spikes of enemies spawning within your field of vision.
Co-op is laughably under-cooked, minimal effort resulting in a mediocre barely coherent attempt to tie it in to the main story. All the while not offering a shred of actual challenge beyond *this guy can take more bullets*, yes the juggernauts of the original were very similar, though they compounded on the difficulty present in the well curated level design. Now you can just run them over for an instant kill.
Oh good lord the bugs, the UI is horrendous, truly a crime against every player so much as attempting to play this game. The firing range which is not a new addition, merely a recycled feature of a poorly received title, is barely functional and operates on a bizarre damage model I can only hope is based on Warzone damage? Why this isn't a toggle option will forever baffle me.
I pray that Warzone is at least some semblance of a saving grace, though I highly doubt it with the heavily neutered movement tech. Slide cancelling has been gutted for "balance reasons" replaced with an absurd reliance on jump shots, said jump shots highly favoring controller players. A quick tap and a full pull of your left trigger will lock you onto any enemy within proximity of your crosshair, minimizing the punishment of the ADS speed reduction in air for anyone fortunate enough to play with magnet aim.
No where near the quality of 2019, it's hard to imagine what they've been doing with all the money that Warzone initially raked in on absurd skins, because it clearly didn't go into the game, nor into the servers as connection is just as poor as ever.
I cannot recommend returning to 2019 for anything but it's Multiplayer either, as the changes that came with Vangaurd officially ruined any credibility, and enjoyment value that base Warzone had.
In conclusion if Warzone 2.0 isn't free, don't bother giving them the validation of their grotesque 70 dollar entry fee.

Early Access Review
If you're not a fan of the early access label for any reason I'd say hold off, but if it doesn't put you off. Don't hesitate it's Rougelike mechanics finely tuned with that signature polish that Supergiant is known for.

If you have even a remote interest in this game and have experience with classic FPS titles, it's one of the best playing, and best feeling in a growing sea of nearly oversaturated classic style FPS retreads.

Worth more than simply farming summer sale points, not quite as open ended as initial ambitions claimed, though provided the game seems like something you'd actually enjoy it's worth the meager asking price of $15, and even more worth it if you find it on sale.
