This is a very fun a challenging base builder/survival game. It gets really in depth with player moods, abilities, and social interactions. I really love the simplistic art style which is almost identical to that of prison architect. There is plenty to do in this early stage of the game too. Other than that, there is not a feature that isn't improved/expanded with the added workshop support.

What some people see as a negative feature of this game, I see as a huge boost to the challenging environment. I have seen some people complaining about the lack of direction which in my opinion is an amazing feature. A game like this should not handhold a player through every step. Finding things out the hard way, through trial and error, is how this game should be played and why I enjoy it the most.

I really enjoy this game and would rate it at a 9/10

EDIT: So after many hours more I am happy to say that this is possibly one of the few games that you can get enjoyment out of while simultaneously smashing your head into a wall. I feel like an emo kid who gets satisfaction and pleasure out of self harm. The regular updates and huge selection of mods adds a replayability factor to the game which I love. I have over 100 hours in the game and have only once actually felt the need to finish off a colony.
