This game is not doing anything like bitcoin mining or other compute-related nonsense on your GPU. This is an Unreal Engine 4 game which uses their built-in deferred lighting implementation, so even a game like ours with few polygons can still require a fair bit of GPU horsepower. Nevertheless, we are working on an upcoming v1.2 patch that will include some fixes for common bugs, as well as letting players enable vsync and/or limit their maximum fps.
