It's the best horde shooter... period? I've been a fan of Payday and L4D since I was a kid, but this game is genuinely the best in it's genre. Rock and Stone, miners!

It's a roguelite that doesn't market itself that way. You will die over and over and over and over, and eventually you might start to get better. It is brutally difficult at times, but eventually you'll get the hang of it. I suggest playing with people, as singleplayer can get a little monotonous for my taste.

Now, that is kind of the POINT of the game, but it's not a point I enjoy as much as I enjoy playing with friends.

Easily my second favorite game of all time. Like. The possibility for roleplay is immense, with the staggering number of events with branching stories and unique text for unique situations. I could go on for days, it's wonderful, go buy it.

I'm playing a 7 foot tall Mongolian woman leading an army comprised of Arabians and Frenchman against those damned Pesky Mongols. What's not to like about this game?

This is, quite frankly, my favorite video game. When I describe it to people, I refer to it as "The Sims: War Crimes Edition." Under no circumstances will I speak a harsh word about this game, except when Randy needs to cool his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jets and stop it with the toxic fallout.

Edit:

2500 hours down the line, it couldn't be more true. I've spent literally nearly four months of my life playing this game. It's just... It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful. It's not The Sims: Warcrimes Edition. It's Rimworld. It's dark and brutal and hopeful and hilarious and the only reason I took a break from playing the last few months was that I had *done everything I could think of.* And then another concept came to mind when I saw another mod, and I put another twenty hours in. I don't think I'll ever stop playing this game. Randy could still probably stand to cool it with the toxic fallout, though.

This game is so damn unbalanced that I don't know how to feel. One hero, Ruckus, is D.Va from Overwatch with Bastions self heal and Reinhardts health pool. He completely dominates and no hero that I have found can counter him. It's utter insanity. If the enemy team has it and you don't, you may as well abandon the game because youre gonna get rolled. Until Ruckus is either nerfed or removed from the game entirely, I will not be playing this game.
