Placid and underwhelming despite the exciting setting of space. Like a long, bad joke with a crumby punchline. Bethesda's an old dog, and this game has no new tricks.

The retro-futurism aesthetic is the best part.

I bought the game because my imagination ran wild with all the things you could do in an open world space RPG - what I imagined was far more fun than the actual game. After 100 hours, and not playing for about a month I can look back and say it was a drag.
