Having played every souls game made prior for hundreds of hours each this is a masterpiece of souls gaming. Also don't let anyone who thinks this game needs an easy mode even try to justify their opinion, they are wrong and will always be wrong. The entire point of a souls game is difficulty (usually not artificial) and overcoming said difficulty. Creating an easy mode defeats the entire purpose and those type of people shouldn't be playing in the first place. If anything it really needs a challenge mode but that's a whole thing and can be argued that you can approach the game in more restrictive ways to increase difficulty.

Great game just by itself but the mods make endless hours of gamplay possible
