This is a great game. It surprised me repeatedly, and I try and play a lot of these kinds of puzzles. So go in without knowing much and enjoy exploring. Thank you for the hint button. I had to use it once, and it gave a wordless hint that I should have known!

But I must comment on one thing (Endgame Spoilers) : That is one of the best learning number systems I have had the pleasure of learning. Riven set the slandered of that I guess. Changing the base, and requiring symbols to be learned is common, but the number system used here was EXCELLENT. It took me a moment to realise they were not just codes and locks, but numbers, and introduced in steps. That really is magic.

(secret spoilers) But did you have to do that on the end screen????

I only finished 1 of the 2 but I am happy to say this is a great collection. A step forward for AA. The idea of justice and truth is developed. The characters are inventive as ever and the jury makes for an interesting new mechanic and way of introducing a larger cast and even some returns. It's an interesting idea! Sholmes is a stand out and fun, even if the deductions are not that hard based on visual observations.

There is not much, and too much to say about this. It's about the idea of games. And how games change. And how games stay the same. Yes.

Having never finished Riven when I first played it ages ago, I'm happy to have gone back to it. Riven is by far the most complex spatial puzzle in the series. The puzzles involve many steps that don't really give you good feedback on if you even are on the right track, and because of its structure ends up having fewer unique areas.

The overall feeling I have of riven is this is not even for most Myst fans. But, if it clicks for you, it's possibly the best in the series.

Now onto playing this game now a days. This game hasn't been updated much. It's now running in SCUMMVM which is good because it runs. But Running is likely the only thing you really get. The renders of the world show age mostly in resolution and angles of some images. There are a few moments where I wanted to look at something more closely or looked in between 2 images to a space that just didn't exist. Is the orbs from 3 and 4 better? Is full motion first person controller better? I have no idea. I'm probably the odd one out here that likes the angles and snappy clicking down hallways, but having the option to look around and move around is something that would be nice to have. The tech didn't exist at the time, and now I don't think it will really happen.

Would be interesting to see some AI upscalling attempts though.

This game knows what it is and just runs with it. It strikes a good balance between gameplay and uh... Lots of porn. It ends up being an addictive slow burn.
There is a good amount of heartfelt moments, as well as a few moments of kink I'm happy to see.
But this is incredibly fun and well put together for the niche it's found itself in.

I'm interested to see what comes next from the studio. Maybe some more diveristy of human races? Or some player character customisation?

This was just the most chill factory game. I really enjoyed it. Vibes and beats and vibing to the beat.

I enjoy everything about this. It's a love letter to puzzle games like the witness while not taking itself seriously. Is it a parody? Yes. Is it a good puzzle game on its own? Yes. Is it worth playing if you have not played the witness? Sure, go for it.

I do not think there is much I can say that has not been said. This is a great game that you should go in blind to. Enjoy and come back to sit by a camp fire to every once and a while.

I understand that some people will get motion sick from this game, because space is... what it is. If that is a blocker, I 100% understand. Some games I think could have built the game around such issues and solved them, but really the whole experience here just would not work with conventional fixes. So be it.

My only advice left is take it slow and enjoy the discovery.

How is the world of Going Under so silly and yet so.............There is a truth here that hurts. I'm going to keep playing but it feels too real sometimes. Might just be the puns talking at this point, but What a cool thing this crab has made.
