MOBILE BASED STAR TREK THEMED CARD COLLECTING GAME

This game is best left for fans of the Star Trek universe. Cards (Characters) are based on Crew from the original series to the latest Discovery episodes. The only exception are the characters from the rebooted Star Trek movies (JJ Abrams).

The developer (Disruptor Beam) does a fair job in constantly updating the game with new cards and interesting themes. The storyline of the game allows them to be creative in releasing multiple versions of your favourite characters to collect.

Your crew have varying stats based on Command, Diplomacy, Security, Medicine, Engineering and Science. They also have traits such as Brutal, Jury Rigger, Doctor, Undercover Operative. Your aim is to match your best characters against specific criterias and send them out on away missions. This same mechanic applies to the ship battles, the gauntlet duels, voyages and weekly events.

Weekly events allows you to challenge other Captains. Landing in higher spots (top 1000), you receive higher level crews as rewards.

The Good:
*Lots of variants of your favourite ST characters
*Constant improvements made by developers (Voyages and gauntlet was not available at launch)

The Bad:
*In a rush to get out weekly releases, some of the artwork on the cards are of poor quality
*The game has some minor bugs

The Ugly:
* Expensive to play. At minimum you will be required to buy a monthly pass that provides you with dilithium (game currency) that you spend on increasing the length of voyages or shortening your away missions. To land in the top 1000 regularly, you are likely spending anywhere from $10 to $40 every 2 weeks on top of the monthly subscription $3-$5 depending on where you reside in the world.
