M&B: Warband is unique in so many ways, you truely just start with a few gold coins, some weapons and thats it. From there you have to build your way to power. All over the world which is not as easy as it sounds.

This game is not a game you buy due to amazing graphics or amazing sound, it is a game you buy for it´s dept and for the fun of leading grand armies to major battles and seige battles.
I can honestly say after over 1000 hours. I havent won the game (yet), always made a mistake or didnt capture enough castles or even worse got to many and didnt have the men to defend them after. It is a game that has a deep connection with the middle and dark ages.

Mount & Blade will live for a long long time and there are amazing mods being made all the time that adds to the quality of the game even better are the online communities/forums where you are always welcome.

The DLC is great if you love the time period and maybe join a regiment and act out the role of a soldier during those times in online events.
