After playing for around 150 hours and just reaching my first T3 Character. I would like to summarize how my experience with Lost Ark has been. Starting with the fact that this game is free to play unlike most "Good" MMORPGS that usually need a subscription (Final Fantasy, World of Warcrafts, etc) or you need to buy them (Black Dessert online , New World , etc). This gives a freedom to the player to test if they like the game without spending money. Αlthough the story is a bit dull and boring and it forces you to keep doing it to reach level 50 (There is no other way that I know of to reach level 50) after you reach level 50 you unlock the additional like Chaos Dungeons , Abyssal Dungeons , Guardian Raids , Cube and the Tower. Chaos Dungeons are a pleasent suprise because of how relaxing and chill they are. Plus if you like kill hordes of monster they are pretty fun. Abyssal Dungeons are a bit rougher especially if you not playing with guys that can communicate with you. Guardians Raids give you the Monster Hunter vibe although they are a bit frustrating for me but if you like that type of Monster Hunter you for sure like them. One of the best things about this game is the combat which in my opinion is the best combat in comparisson to any other 2.5D isometric MMORPG. PVP is also a fun experience.

Moving on to the hot topic of this game. Is it P2W? Yes and No.I like to phrase it as it's pay to progress faster than the F2P players.Also about the progression yes it is tidious but it's not as tidious as other MMORPGS. Although 90% of the time you will hit a ilvl wall that requirs to grind to continue, the games does not punish if you want to take your time or if you want to rush and yes I know failing hooning at +13 , +14 is frustarating but atleast it does not downgrade your gear when you fail the attemp. MMORPGS are not a sprint they are a marathon, if you could reach max gear score in the first 2 days noone would keep playing the game. The drive that makes you play the game is to progress and get the best gear score that you can if it was handed to you the MMORPG genre would be totally dead.

In conclusion one of the better MMORPGS (In my opinion top 5) . Time consuming as every game(not as much if you dont want to rush T3). If you like MMORPGS and combat is one of the main reasons you should totally try it.

Very good game to play with friends. Not too scary not too chill. You will just have fun. If you have a VR this games becomes a lot scarier but still if you playing with friends you will have a lot of fun.
