Nothing compares to the euphoria I get when I gaslight children into crying.
I get a huge adrenaline rush when a literal fetus starts questioning why they were brought into existence.
I recommend this game not as a social deduction game, but as a psychological horror.

6/10 - Chris Tyson would love this game

The only game where I can kill GoPros with guns and ♥♥♥♥ my pants when they see me first.
The only stealth VR game where I actually felt like I needed to be...well...
Stealthy...

Very fun to play with friends, BUT NOT WITH RANDOMS.
Very glad everything was free at launch, not even upset about microtransactions being in the game now.
A very good spin off that feels great to play and come back to, no matter how many times you lose...

Early Access Review
A very realistic shooter that stays true to its source material.
Can be fun to play with friends or stream.
Developers are not great, neither is the game, but it is hard to put it down once you pick it up.

Having started as a game setting a new standard for VR Shooters and VR E-Sports, VAIL has really made a name for itself in the competitive VR community.

Now that it has achieved this goal, it's building upon that initial vision to appeal to the casual scene as well.
Implementing social features, making Quest 2/3/3s performance a priority, and listening to feedback is making VAIL much more than a sweat fest for the best of VR shooter players.

On the other hand, some bugs can be very annoying, and bugs that were not in the test builds surface when updates go live. You may have to wait a few days after an update for bugs to be squashed, however, at the end of the day, VAIL is a great game!

This. This right here, is my new favorite movement shooter.
The difficulty curve is definitely a key selling point of this game, and I get so much joy from coming back to levels and using newly acquired skills and weapons to smash my previous scores.
You should definitely buy this game, even if it's in early access; I want nothing more than to grow with this game and it's community.

For the people saying this game is good:
Is this good for the experience? Would blind players enjoy this?
Or is your nostalgia fueling a sort of ignorance?

For the people saying this game is bad:
Yes, I hear you. I beat it in under 4 hours with only 17 more achievements to unlock, with my only fuel to replay the game being the unofficial VR mod.

Please keep in mind; this game was birthed from the lead creator wanting to experiment with a 2D art style in a 3D world.
Not everyone can pace their stories well, especially for a chapter based game.
Story writing takes time to get good at, Scott Cawthon (FNaF Franchise) being a prime example.

Chapter 3 can be a grueling task of:
- Gather 3 things.
- Bring them to Alice.
- Don't die.
These tasks and the true reason why you are doing them doesn't become clear until the end of the next chapter, and most people don't make the connection.

With the story telling a little oddly placed, connected story elements not becoming immediately clear to the player, Bendy and the Ink Machine feels greatly inferior to its successor, Bendy and the Dark Revival.

MY VERDICT: Wait until a sale, you might get both major titles for $20 in a bundle. Bendy and the Dark Revival is a much better game.

After receiving a product key to receive this game for free, I am going to give my honest opinion.
The parkour in this game is very inconsistent and any latency from your headset/controllers will definitely make your movements unfavorable. Despite the inconsistency of the parkour, the devs are constantly trying to make a great experience, which is very respectable.
Overall rating: 6/10
Verdict: Don't buy for full price, buy it if it's on sale.
