While I do love this game (if you couldn't already tell by 140 hours of playtime at time of writing), I absolutely cannot recommend it given the recent announcement that it will be obligatory to link your steam account to a PSN account. It's not just about having to create and keep track a new account, but Sony's handling of their users data and logins, and the amount of data breaches they've had over the past decade. I absolutely DO NOT trust them to keep any of my data safe. Not to mention that Sony hasn't clarified exactly how the linking between a steam account and a psn account will work: if my psn account gets hacked, and I have it linked to my steam account, is my steam also going to be hacked? As it stands, I cannot, and will not, recommend this game for anyone. Shame too, it was a real blast with friends.

Honestly a great remake of risk of rain. The sound track is just as captivating as before, new items and survivors are great (pilot mvp), and there's a whole bunch of game customisation options I didn't think i'd need but are pretty neat to have. Honestly good work

absolutely fun game, amazing atmosphere, guns that feel powerful. and an amazing soundtrack that adds a lot to the atmosphere
