Based on the movies of the same name, this game will be good fun for anyone who loves the setting.
The game is a real time strategy game which focuses more on the tactical use of your resources rather than base building. You may lose countless units in a mission but you can easily replace them for the same cost every time, the only value lost being experience.

For the tl:dr crowd,
A decent game, easy mechanics to learn, a funny story with plenty of puns, worth it for the story. The sound track is nice too.

A rather simplistic game, you mass units that are identical to your opponent's and aim to take control of all the territory on the map by suiciding them into enemy castles. The usual strategy involves either out producing the AI or waiting for them to waste their units in an assault then counter attacking. There are three resources, stone (grey) is used to build more castles faster, gold(yellow) is used to produce units and medows(green) let's your castles upgrade faster. An upgraded castle controls more territory and thus can reach resources more than hexigon away.

The story is interesting enough. When your first opponent is called The Clearly Evil Empire you know what sort of story to expect. Plenty of puns and cliches but it works and will get a few laughs and eye rolls at least.

The game was made for mobile as well as PC and the controls reflect it, you won't need more than your mouse.

In summary: Worth trying, a decent story and time waster.

To sum it up, it's Left For Dead's gameplay in a Warhammer setting with a few twists.

As with Left for Dead you're stuck in a city overrun by an endless horde of monstrosities. (In this case, it's the rat-men known as Skaven)
You and 3 buddies are charged with completing a variety of missions such as collecting supplies and gunpowder for the resistance, clearing paths for smugglers through the sewers or destroying Skaven war machines in their own camp ets.
In each you will be faced by a variety of enemies ranging from tiny, one-hit to kill, slave rat hordes to massive Rat Ogres who can soak up damage like a drunkard soaks up alcohol.

It's enjoyable and can become quite challenging at higher difficulties with more enemies and less pickups. (Even friendly fire is an option.)
There's a decent variety of weapons and classes to try out ensuring there'll always be something to suite your playstyle.

It's not perfect mind you, there's a bug or two that pops up every now and then but they're small enough to ignore or share a giggle at. Otherwise this game is good entertainment at a reasonable price.

Recommended for anyone who enjoys taking on hordes of enemies with a handful of friends but is tired of zombies.

A short but sweet action game. I recomend it to anyone wh like blasting through a hordes with a variety of interesting weapons. It's only about 4-6 hourse if you decide to blaze right through it.
For it's length it's pretty pricey at 10 $ but If you manage to get it on sale it'll be worth your time to grab it.
Way back in the day I got this together with Battle Engine Aquila bundled with a graphics card of all things and spent a good few days playing and replaying it.

3 bowling balls,
1 vacume,
1 hamster motor
1 conveyor belt
1 ray gun
3 rubber bands
2 bits of string
1 dog
and
2 cats.

That's what it takes to turn on a bloody light bulb. If that sounds fun to you then this game is for you.
