Stellaris is a game that I continue to come back to time and time again, and would recommend for people who like to experiment with things and also control a grand-scale galactic empire in real time. I've already sunk 100+ hours into this game over the course of (roughly?) a few weeks, and it continues to feel like I am learning new things each time I play. There are so many combinations of stuff I've not tried yet, and so many play-styles yet to explore, that I feel like I could play for a thousand more hours and not experience it all. This game is a real gem, and I am glad I was recommended to pick it up by my friends.

Are there some issues with Stellaris, however? Oh most absolutely, and it would be a sin not to say so. I love Stellaris, and so much about it, but I don't want to be forced to play 𝔽𝕠𝕣𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕤: ℝ𝕖𝕡𝕠𝕨𝕖𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 on an Ironman Achievement Run. This isn't even the first of the sins this game has, and likely not the worst. The AI is hilariously abusable once you get past the early game, almost to the point of where you NEED to give them the bonuses they can receive (on higher difficulties) in order for them to even have a chance at fighting against you competently. Sure, the AI is a threat in the early game (or while you are setting up your economy, truth be told) but some of the strategies you can employ in this game for fighting are so stupidly effective that almost every player, that has some minor experience in the game, can tell you about it. This isn't even the top of the list, but I don't need to go in-depth. The game does have flaws, but a good amount of them are over-lookable or able to be got around.

So overall, my verdict on this game is that it is a solid 8.5-9/10. I would recommend this to my friends to at least INVESTIGATE, and maybe even try out if they fancy it. Sure, there are some buggy messes in this game, some of which can break your run, but overall the experience of becoming a superpower in a galaxy of strange and mysterious creatures is a joy that many can revel in. I do love the joy of making the Fallen Empires look like children compared to me before the Mid-Year, and I am sure many others will too.

Territory Idle is pretty good guys, I'm not gonna lie to you. I think I'm actually pretty close to finishing the game.
