If you like XCOM 1, then you will like this one.
Not perfect for me, but a very solid game.
With war of the chosen it is almost a clomplete new experience and quite awesome.
Give it try.

Just beat the dlc.
Worth it's money.

Like the original game it has awesome puzzles and will entertain you for a few hours.
If you had a hard time with the basic game and don't like hard challenges... then maybe skip it.

For me it felt like the difficulty was on the same level as the the stars in the original game.
The stars in the dlc were... mostly even harder than that (let's pretend the stars in world 4 weren't that easy).
I may be not the sharpest tool in the shed, so for some puzzles i needed a lot of time and for some stars (I look at you crater stars) i had given up and got some hints before solving it.

Usually I like to read everything and want to see all the game has to give.
But even for me there was a little bit too much to read at some times.

But nevertheless if you like the talos principle.... here you will get more of it - even a little bit harder than before.
Way better dlc than some other stuff out there...

Awesome game!
For people that have fun with puzzle games like portal this is an absolutely must-play-titel.
It starts with really easy puzzles and gives you almost every time enough practice to learn new techniques/puzzle-parts.
It seems to be quite fair, in regard of the basic game (so everything you need to do to beat the game).
Even hardcore-puzzle-fans should have a good time.
In addition to the basic puzzles there are extra hard puzzles.
But even these are usually doable without requiring you to play pixel and time perfect combos.

It took me sometimes really long to get the solution and for one or two stars i needed actually help.
The feeling in the moment you solved a puzzle that hold you down for an hour or more... awesome.

The story is ok to good, quite philosophical, at the end i was a little bit dissapointed.
The music, sounds and dialogs/monologs in written and spoken form are very good.
Even after playing 20+ hours i still liked the soundtrack.

I liked the game enough to even replay it again (just after finishing it), to get all Achievements.
I am not really an achievement-hunter so... that speaks for the talos prinicple, too.

Thank you for this game, croteam.
It was a blast and worth every cent.
