It's brutal, it's unfair, you will die over and over. Sometimes it'll be a skill issue. Most times it'll be you getting ganked.

It's also filled with gorgeous spritework, improved environments, and Chris Christodoulou's glorious original soundtrack. And it's fun.

10/10, would get obliterated by 6 overload magma worms again.

This is the perfect form of Dead Space. Motive has poured their heart and soul into making it as authentic as possible while fixing up the original's flaws, and it shows.

They had zero incentive to make the Infested suit as unsettling as they did. They modeled the portion of the neck that attaches to the head AND the underside of the head and skull where it all connects to the neck, there's the sound of bone creaking and cracking from your face... It's incredible.

I have never experienced a game where the very first input was satisfying. Not until Ultrakill, that is.

This game is rated Overwhelmingly Positive for damn good reason. It's FUN.

It's not a war crime until the galactic community says it is, and they can't say it is if you wipe them out first!

Improves on 4.1's gameplay enormously, at the cost of drones, Hectors, dragons, and a kickass song you can sing with the AI.

Seriously, the one in this game is practically a dealbreaker on its own. The gameplay QoL improvements edge it out though.

Take Earth Defense Force and combine it with The Flesh That Hates from SCP, and you're a Kung Fury sound-alike in a mech.

This game is a blast, and well worth the full price. Looking forward to more content and weapons, if the dev plans on it - as is, it's perfectly fine standalone.

And Damian? Doubt you'll read this comment personally, but... Nice job. I love this game.

Going through this game's story mode, I felt more and more like a complete juggernaut as things got harder and harder.
