[GUIDE: HOW TO VIEW, ACTIVATE, AND VISIT YOUR TROPHY LODGE]

Step 1. Buy the trophy lodge DLC (if applicable)
Step 2. Complete any Reserve storyline (Single Player)
Step 3. If you already bought the DLC before completing the storyline, close the game, go to Manage My DLC and De-Activate the Trophy Lodge, then open the game again.
Step 4. Close the game again, re-activate the trophy lodge, open the game and open any Single Player reserve.
Step 5. Press ESC and at the bottom of the menu list is Trophy Lodge Manager.
Step 6. In Trophy Lodge Manager, select the Lodge you want to activate and click "Create Lodge".
Step 7. Now you can visit and host the lodge, so if you open Multiplayer and click Create bottom left, you can switch between Reserve and Hunting Lodge (and invite friends to your lodge!)
Step 8. Visit the lodge(s) and toggle to Edit mode, place trophies, modify their pose / position, and show off your most impressive kills to your friends or visitors.

Well, it looks like there may have been some improvements. 2 of the tiger encounters were fierce and charged, which is lovely. All it took was some calling, and walking around shooting other animals to get into that situation. 1 of the (Trivial-1) tigers took 5 shots, still pounced my friend in multiplayer, and appeared to be eating them a bit before running further and then finally dying. 2 other tigers were Mythical-8, so I'll thank RNG for the good fortune, and 1700 credits / moneys.

Furthermore, the Yaks up in the mountains are adorable shaggy horned horses; slow and fairly skittish, it was enough to make me want to try tame / capture one or two as pets. (On theme).

The Snow Leopard, however, is a bit of a rare eccentricity, and you do need to go find their need zones, then sniff around for paw prints, and potentially waste hours tracking to try get a good shot - and yes, they look nice, but for the effort to find and shoot one... make sure you have an hour or so IRL.

All that said, it seems there have been some improvements. Be sure to travel everywhere on the map.

Welcome to Nepal, home of the timid tiger and a vast overpopulation of water buffalo.

The cowardly Bengalese kittens have an unfortunate disposition of sneaking around in solitude, growling and staring at you (without pouncing), and occasionally just fleeing for their feline lives, with little chance of returning. They take 1 or 2 shots before shrivelling into trivial fur rugs, with barely any fortitude or resilience.

Did the devs sleep through all those horror movies they ranted on about for using as inspiration for the tiger's behaviour? It hasn't been scary, it hasn't been exciting, and it absolutely hasn't been realistic to the alleged fierceness of actual tigers.

The Yukon wolves are far more ferocious, cunning, silent and horrifying in their pack hunting strategies; perhaps the tiger algorithm could learn something from them, or add a bonus "partner tiger" to make it a little more challenging. (i.e. The wolves hide behind trees, standing idle for minutes while waiting for you to make the first move - they charge you down even on a quad bike, dash in short bursts while you cower on your tripod, and howl occasionally to remind you that you are bottom of the food chain in their world).

In summary, the current release of Sundarpatan is a reserve full of geese and water buffalo in abundance. Be prepared to burn through copious amounts of ammo to get a few buffalo in your bag. Just don't expect to find any excitement in the current tiger population.

That was one hell of a run...

Fast forward to the futuristic version of the old original 1993 version of Shadorun, Shadowrun Returns really lives up to a review stating; "one of the best sci-fi games ever".

Cue the pre-Cyberpunk 2077 franchise of blended magic, tech, monsters, mercenaries and global futuristic dystopia, ShadowRun Returns offers several playable races with their own strengths and weaknesses, but ultimately, provides enough leeway to get through with any of them just fine.

Does it get intense? Yes
Does it make you laugh? Yes
Does it give you freedom to venture off on track..? Sort of but not really...

Skill up, buy up, customize your setup to match your needs and get ready to plunge head-first into hours of fun and fantasy - definitely worth the money.

Buy it anytime, it's absolutely worth it. (Especially if you like RPG's that make you think.. just a bit.)

P.S. I have only completed the Dead-Man's Switch campaign and that took me a few days of on-and-off gameplay. What a blast! I'll probably update this drek when I get through other content. Later, chummer!

Source was fine.
Global Offensive was fine.
"2" is a dumpster fire.

* No more Overwatch to help the servers deal with cheaters (How do you a triple headshot on full auto with an AK47? You don't. Nobody does. Except cheaters.)

* Skill Ratings expire. Didn't play for a while? Back to the kiddy pool with you! Search times may take upward of 1+hour. Expect to be matched up with and against absolute beginners, and more of the above (cheaters).

* Achievements? Nope. You have 1. Forget achievements for skill, you receive this one because you own the game.

* SKINS! Gambling kiddies using their parents' credit cards, scammers and fraudsters using stolen details to rip others off (and sell whole accountswhich are pending suspension / investigation), etc. - sure, there's money to be made legally, but it's created a cesspool of fraud and money laundering.

I mean, it's not all bad.

You might actually find a decent match, and maybe, just maybe, even have fun.

P.S. It only took 2 years to take a mostly positive review to completely negative.

Picked up soon after launch, I personally have yet to finish the game (several years later), because to me, that means doing "everything" before hammering the final nail in the alien coffin.

Having revisited, restarted, revised strategies, and frequently cornered myself into nearly impossible missions with no save point to escape to, the war is ongoing. Humanity will prevail.

Where does that leave you on entertainment? Customise your soldiers, tweak your squads for missions, try out interesting tactics on unsuspecting aliens (rockets and grenades are awesome; "Wall? What wall?"), build advanced (or super simple) bases, even get selective about which countries you care about saving.

Difficulty at Classic or Impossible gives that unnerving feeling of being constantly outnumbered, but also means an increase in salvaged corpses and materials (aside from super sense of satisfaction when you get things right). Rock it for the achievements after you've played out Easy and Normal for a good couple of test games (maybe even rather just finish it first, it's a pretty long game if you try to do everything).

Is it fun? YES!
Is it worth the money? YES!
Is it aliens? ... PROBABLY! (ya never know.. maybe humans are the real aliens :P )

What more do you want? Strategy? Established storylines? Multiplayer? Say no more, you've got it!

Northgard introduces you to various challenges in a primarily RTS village/outpost builder and citizen management theme, lending well to the heroes / leaders quest lines, and the lore develops quite comfortably as well - you will find it fairly captivating, even if story-telling doesn't appeal to you.

For it's price, it's been a good deal of entertainment solo and multiplayer, and I would gladly recommend it.

Ever wonder what it feels like racing a fully loaded truck?

Wonder no more, as you inevitably make bad driving decisions and face the wrath of game physics whilst discovering beautiful scenery, awesome live streaming radio stations, complicated features of trucks (and their inner workings) - or stick with simple automatic, and deliver freight to start building your own logistics empire.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 does a surprisingly good job of introducing the complexities of long vehicle / trailer cornering, reversing, heavy load braking and weather handling, whilst remaining entertaining, fulfilling and unlike most conventional simulation games.

A well-rounded and fairly well maintained game, I'm just under 100 hours from the intermittent time I've delved into this world, and despite the challenges and frustration of getting established (it's almost strange that it gets so much easier as the game progresses), the successes make the challenges that much more memorable. Fond memories such as "That time I did a midair corkscrew with the entire rig" and "I honestly didn't see that cliff" will keep you reminiscing for months after the fact.

Grab it on special, grab it full price, just grab the wheel and hit the road to adventure and logistics!

Disclaimer: This may potentially inspire you to get into trucking / logistics IRL.

Really not what you'd expect as you slowly dip your feet into the base game's lukewarm waters, with a fair scaling of the difficulty level and increasing difficulty and challenges as you enter the world of hunting as a novice.

Guided by the ever-helpful narrative reserve guides (differs for each reserve), your undertakings and challenges extend well beyond simply shooting animals; there are missions, quests, "requests for help" and some pretty gruesome stuff along the way (I think it was Silver Peaks? And that wasn't the only one - expect the unexpected!) Play solo or join your friends for hours of open world adventure, exploration, startling encounters and frustrating shot evasion (some of those animals came from The Matrix!).

After 330 hours in-game (updated from 234 hours), 73 of 164 achievements, several wrecked ATV's (quad bikes) along with some interesting and sometimes death-defying stunts, I now own all the DLC's (including the latest), and have acquired a new level of patience for torturous game experiences that may actually end up being enjoyable overall.

TL;DR - It's fun, it's insightful, it teaches you a lot about wildlife management, hunting/luring/stalking and tracking techniques, gives you a first-hand ticket to a world that so many people don't give so much as a glance. The ATV (quad bike), bloodhound, tents and tripods DLC's make the absolute biggest difference in gameplay advantage, and multiplayer allows you to play on reserves you don't own (try before you buy). Put this on your wishlist and grab it on sale, or even when you feel like it - a very balanced well made game, yes with a few bugs, but immersive and entertaining, alone or with friends.

P.S. Level up your caller and scent skills/perks, as well as weapon aim stability skills. Also, Google is your friend. Happy hunting. :)

It's misleading, there's no actual tutorial, and the turn-based play leaves you struggling to figure it out until you pass the 2 hour Refund Time Limit which Steam implements... I have tried and tried but they refuse to refund me for the whole Civ IV package / bundle, because I played "Colonization mod" (which is virtually impossible) for 3.6 hours.

Utterly disappointed. I have Civilization V already with all the DLC.. why lie and pretend to make a Colonization Port / Mod that has any DLC (it doesn't) and is basically just Civ4 scenario set up for 4x European factions to pretend to be Colonization?

It's utterly disappointing.

I'm very despondent that Steam won't refund me.

I don't think I'll be so keen to buy any further Ports / Mods / DLC that pretend to be another game while not actually being standalone.
