I can see why some would not recommend this game but for $20 bucks I do not see the need to complain, the game is fun and keeps your attention throughout and if you take the time to read and follow the dialogue between characters rather than skip through makes for a few good chuckles. I beat the game on medium and trying out other modes I will say I wish that they created different bonuses for ship designs because right now the best ship while starting out is just a straight line ship and as you level basically you turn into a flying "L" or reverse "L" for maximum effectiveness.

PRO: Can't beat free, right. I mean this game is free, free! You only pay for customization and on steam market place you can find some pretty cheap, cool looking stuff. All characters are free and available to play I feel like this is how most of the games in this genre should be like.

Middle Ground: You either like these type of game or you don't that simple, with that said DOTA 2 seems to have more of a learning curve than say other games of its type. Good place to meet a lot of gamer friends if your into meeting other people and playing with them etc.

CON: This game is full of "competitive players," who will in no time flame you or bittle you the entire game: rarely will you find a nice person haha. Their is atleast 2 out of the 5 players on your team that do not speak english and usually one person who understands Morse Code: what I mean by this is they constantly "ping" the map and that's all they do. This becomes overly frusterating when trying to play a rated match!
