One mystery I cannot figure out is why some people come into our lives and why some people go.
Others become a part of you.
Some friendships feel like they'll last forever and others end far too soon.
Not every friendship is meant to last forever.
What does last forever is the pain when that person is gone.

Everyone's born to compete as he/she chooses.
But how can someone win if winning means that someone loses..

I sit and see and wonder what it's like to be in touch.
No wonder all my brothers and my sisters need a crutch..

I want to be a human being not a human doing.
I couldn't keep that pace up if I tried.

The source of my intention really isn't crime prevention.
My intention is prevention of the lie..

Well I started out, down a dirty road
Started out, all alone
And the sun went down, as I crossed the hill
And the town lit up, the world got still

I'm learning to fly, but I ain't got wings
Coming down, is the hardest thing

Well the good ol' days, may not return
And the rocks might melt and the sea may burn

Well some say life, will beat you down
Break your heart, steal your crown
So I've started out, for God knows where
I guess I'll know, when I get there

I'm learning to fly, around the clouds
But what goes up, must come down

Each one of us is unique
But we are being stitched together to form a tapestry..
Something larger that can't be understood
Until we step back to see the whole thing
At some point, we all wake up
And then we have to choose
None of us are in this alone..

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch,

a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment,

or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential

to turn a life around.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that..
If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward..

It hurts so much

My smile ends calm

One last look
The light shines bright
Behind the sun
Just silent dreams
Lost in frozen times

I wish I could turn back time
No way to avoid
The day I start to die..
