One of the greatest games ever made, Cave Story blends the gameplay of Metroid and Megaman with the structure of a Metroidvania, an amazing story and a truly mind-blowing soundtrack.

Cave Story is an earnest love letter to gaming, and an experience not to be missed.

If you enjoyed classic LucasArts and Sierra adventure games like Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle, you might really enjoy this little game. The puzzles are none too difficult, and the light-hearted piratical goofiness and bumbling hero makes it feel quite a bit like a spiritual successor to Monkey Island.

Very enjoyable for those who like the genre.

Perhaps the most balanced and rewarding competitive multiplayer available today, catering to so many playstyles that you're almost guaranteed to find a class you enjoy playing.
