I tried to message you on Discord but you have DM's blocked. Just saw your bug report on Aloft while reporting something myself. You may be able to retrieve your critters by using the noclip. Hit F1 in game and type 'noclip on 3' and go try grab them. To turn it off its 'noclip off'. Warning: movement can be rather fast while noclip is on but might let you get your stuck critters.
