Finished the demo and really enjoyed it.
Excited to see how the play experience expands with different mercenary classes, and if there will be different "stories" to follow.

Re: 1% increases, yeah that possibly needs some work, but also, how far will that cumulatively stack, across items/skills on full release, 1% may be for future balancing, not just the demo play.

Re: Item grind & Item loss, i just played it safe, worked on a single mercenary at a time, and have been able to mostly smash what I've taken on. I think I've lost 2 or three items, which hurt, but taught me to back off and build up.

Definitely recommend trying the demo, and keeping an eye on this one.
Overall, a solid Backpack auto-battler RPG

It's a decent roguelike bullet hell, if you're into the genre, you'll enjoy this.

TLDR -
FPS 'version' of that other vampire killing game.
Part Bullet hell, part arena, part boomer shooter. All retro (style), all fun.

Length -
It's a rogue-like FPS boomer shooter/arena/survivor.
However long you enjoy killing things is great, so... infinite? ;-).
I completed the original mode in around 2 hours (with skill you could do this faster possibly)
However, the additional mode is really where replay exists, and is good fun. At 20 hours I still have a lot to unlock and do.

Issues -
All minor bugs I've encountered in previous play have thus far been patched.

TLDR -
Short but enjoyable first-person co-op puzzle.

Playtime -
My buddy and I are dumb so our first play through was over an hour. On second play through (to see the other 'side' of the game) we finished in under 30min.
Puzzles are randomised, we just knew the techniques.

Additional suggestion -
I highly recommend using the games in-built voice chat if possible on first play through, if just to add to the feeling of desperation (it'll make sense).

Issues -
We did not encounter any of the noted issues in other reviews. We may have been lucky, or these issues may have been patched. Either way, we had a smooth game from both sides of the experience.

A fun pixel art styled co-op platforming puzzler.
Team Rombo clearly built on their previous title Two Cubes and expanded in all the right ways, with interesting ability additions and a small but pleasing number of hidden collectables to keep you coming back.
At 3/4 through base game so far with about 1.5 hours game play, so would peg simple play through at 2ish hours.
Then it'll be time to knock off those collectables.
Great fun for a fiver, can highly recommend.

30min - 1hr if you suck like me. But had a great time! well worth a look, BANGIN sound track.
