One of the most ambitious grand strategies ever made, and my new addiction. Still rough around the edges (v0.4), but an amazing game nevertheless. Can't wait to see what its like at 1.0. The tech tree, more events and councillor interactions are major things they need to flesh out. Early-mid game after securing your nation's but before space takes off can feel a bit stale. A few recommendations id make.

1. A new councillor action which allows you to influence a nation's priorities without taking a CP. Would allow you to influence nations without having to take CP, fix their priorities then abandon. Gives you more todo during early game, plus you can prepare larger nations for later on.

2. More varied events. This is a common thing for many grand strategy games, but countries lack flavour. Their should be unique events, event chains and effects from nation's. Right now most nation's from EU to US or China feel the same to play. Only priority allocation differs.

3. Tech tree. I love how techs are done, but its presentation is fairly overwhelming for new players. Maybe dividing the techs up into different pages or layouts could help. Smarter minds than me have probably already suggested better alternatives.

Eitherway amazing game, and with continued development will be a game for the ages.

A fantastically fun and engrossing game IF you play with a group of 4+ friends, or on a public server I assume (only played the former).

Very similar to games like Factorio or Satisfactory in terms of the "Just one more thing" gameplay loop that turns a short session into 12 hours a day for a week.

Still in EA, and there is definitely jank in places (Why the hell does it cost paper to make a Bookshelf???), but overall I've had a massive amount of fun. I wouldn't recommend it for singleplayer as it stands, but for MP with a group of active friends its a total blast.

Protip: Use the economy/cash feature and dont go off barter. Set a base price for raw resources (1 for Wood/Stone, 2 for Iron/Copper Ore) then calculate all good prices based on that +10% for labour and +10% for delivery. Its much smoother than straight barter. Then all personal credits are of roughly equal value, and you can do credit swaps to get each others currencies.

Genuinely one of the best city builders ive played. This game solves one of the major problems with many games in the genre, which is the why? why bother building a city, to achieve what? Blending the overworld storm and progression mechanics with the roguelite city building is such a good combo. Mixing up which buildings you have access too also really forces you to play different each time. Still love to see more content, biomes and mechanics but damn its so good already.

A fantastic addition to the game. The new cooking recipes, the new weapons/items and the new region is great. Even if this was all of the content coming out (AUG, 2023) it would still be a great addon. Considering there is still a fair bit on the roadmap they plan to bring out I can imagine it will only become better value over time.

Blew me away with how engaging and fun this game is. Hardcore survival at its best with an awesome story, setting and soundtrack. Newest game in my top 10 for sure.

I recommend playing on the intended difficulty first time, after that play with the 'Breathing Room' mod on nexus that allows you more time and larger item stacks so you can do all the sidequests and such.

Definitively the best of the modern Fallout games. Its depth of character customization, roleplaying, writing and worldbuilding is topnotch. Its a real shame Fallout 4 didnt take what was built here and run with it, this is how you make a good Fallout RPG. Base game is sadly buggy as hell, and on Windows 10 crashes every few minutes. But with a couple quick mods you can easily make it stable (NVSE, New Vegas Tick Fix, 4GB Patcher and a few other bug fix mods). 10/10 would rig the game from the start again.

Game itself is a solid foundation, but the fact at this point I own a fair few expansions, and yet have to pay another $80 just to have stuff which really should have been in the base game is simply silly. Yet another paradox game slowly ruined by greedy DLC tactics.
