Survival mode is fun but honestly I don't know why they even bother making campaigns like this, and to be honest a lot of modern RTS games make this mistake.

It's like they're trying to teach the game to toddlers, it's so boring and mundane, I had to quit the campaign at mission 2 because I just couldn't anymore. Just go straight to survival, the game really isn't very complicated.

The ARPG I've always wanted. It takes lessons from other games in adjacent genres that have appeared through the years. The controls are reminiscent of Hades, the combat takes a lot of cues from the "hard but fair" approach seen in soulslikes. At the moment the game is in early access, and naturally not everything is fully balanced and there certainly are numerical tweaks required at the least but I have full confidence in the team that they will get there!

FOR THE EMPEROR!

A classic well written mature RPG, in the grim dark 40K setting with actual grim dark storytelling. As Owlcat doesn't operate on super high budgets the graphics aren't great and not even half of the game is voice acted, but on the other hand the art direction and dialogue is both excellent.

Fantastic game, would vent rioting rabble into the vacuum of space again.

Extremely addictive autobattler, probably the best one on the market right now!

I wasn't too sold during early access but coming back after the full release the game improved at ton.

It's a pretty unique mix of RTS and 4X mechanics, with a lot of diplomacy and alternate win conditions. There's a lot of complex mechanics and resources that need to be balanced out against one another.

The northgard DNA is very present but upscaled into a big game with large armies and politics.

As of writing this game is being plagued by server issues which significantly impacts online play, but as I am sure it will be fixed eventually it won't be affecting my rating (also I often play at different hours than your usual 20-something as I'm a little older so it just doesn't impact me as much either...)

The game is great, it's complex enough to allow for a wide variety of playstyles yet you don't need a phd in statistics to understand how certain game mechanics actually work like in PoE. Highly recommended if you're a fan of the genre, so much better than diablo 4.

Act 1 is cool. It's the fourth wall breaking deckbuilding game you always read about.

Unfortunately what you often don't read is that it's short and very easy, and act 2 just felt bad. The graphics make card text nearly unintelligible and it's just boring.

Initially I was pretty happy with this game but the more I play it the less I enjoy it. I expected a lot more hard choices and difficult tactical positioning but in the end most fights boil down to repetitively doing the same things over and over again, and there's never any tough choice to make for surviving on the map.

And after a while seeing the same faces pop up in every area with the same voices giving similar fetch quests got really old, wouldn't surprise me if half of it is AI generated content.

This one needs more time, and it needs something special to draw you in. It's a solid battle system but it's just too dry and never exciting.
