This game is the equivalent of using duct tape and gorilla glue to shave your moustache

Extremely painful at times, but it achieves what it sets out to do and then some.

Xcom EU/EW is one of the finest strategy games ever made and one of the only games I've played in recent memory that actually drew me back for multiple playthroughs. Just a warning though, it can be extremely hard and punishing, especially on the higher difficulties or if you try to use one of the many campaign mutators. Be prepared to have your units die in what feels like completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and arbitrary ways just because you made tactical mistake that snowballed in an entire squad wipe. But that being said if you can take the heat it's one of the most satisfying turn based strategy games ever made, set in one of the most interesting sci-fi universes ever made. So if you're a fan of turn based strategy games and you want more after the recent Advance Wars reboot. I'd say give it a try

This game appeals to every kind of Resident Evil fan

Like atmospheric horror Resident Evil? Well good news this game is probably the most terrifying and uncomfortable Resident Evil has been in years. Only topped by the remakes of the first two games.

Like action Resident Evil? Good news, this game has a fair amount of action in its boss fights, and the free DLC expansion Not A Hero.

Like cheesy schlock Resident Evil? Good news, the game gets pretty hilarious when you see Ethan reattach an amputated limb using a bottle of antiseptic and nothing else. The second DLC End of Zoe, is the best Florida Man simulator ever made, where you play as a redneck punching terrifying fungal monsters to death

I bought this version of the game to play dmc3, after Capcom released an update to the original version of 3se on steam that broke the old dmc3 starter pack mod and style switcher for me. It was annoying, but whatever, I moved on with my life, and bought this port when I got a hankering for another run of dmc3. Unfortunately this port has a ton of bugs, like text issues, missing visual effects and no proper keyboard support. Full list of what you can expect found at https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Devil_May_Cry_HD_Collection but the gist of it is. Don't buy this version of the port. Buy the Switch version, or the ps4 version, or the xbox one version. It'll be a little more expensive, but at the least the port won't be utter garbage

WARNING TO ANY NEW PLAYERS WHO ARE CONSIDERING BUYING THIS FOR THE MULTIPLAYER

Due to recent issues with hackers, Titanfall 2 is currently in a state where the playability of the game in multiplayer is no longer guaranteed, and there will be periods of the day where you simply cannot enter a multiplayer match due to DDoS attacks either causing the match itself to crash shortly after it starts, or by not even allowing the player to enter the game at all. If you are considering purchasing Titanfall 2 for the multiplayer, I would recommend holding off, as, as the hacking gets worse and worse, there is no guarantee the multiplayer will even be playable at all after a certain point. That aside due to the work of hackers, there also exists a multiplayer blacklist, meaning that if you get chosen by these hackers, any match you play will cause the entire game to crash

Thankfully if you're only buying Titanfall 2 for the campaign, everything should be working as normal, and I do recommend the campaign a lot, I think it's one of the best shooter campaigns of the past decade, and dare I say the best shooter campaign of 2016 arguably. But because of the fact that this multiplayer issue is so prevalent, I'm going to mark this review negatively, in the hopes that someone from EA or Respawn will listen, and help fix this.

I love Titanfall 2, when I first played the game in October, it quickly became one of my favourite games, due to the satisfying momentum based movement system, giving me such a sense of player freedom, speed and flow that, no other game has ever given me. But seeing it slowly die at the hands of EA has been one of the most depressing things in my life recently, seeing this game that I loved get abandoned to the wayside by a company that just doesn't give a damn about the game, all the while the fans are fighting tooth and nail to keep it alive, it's just heartbreaking, and I hope that more people come to know about how EA abandoned this game.

I also want to say that while Apex players, think that this doesn't matter to them, that Titanfall is an old game and it shouldn't get any attention or help because of this. Apex players should be very scared about this, because the engine exploits that exist in Titanfall 1 and 2 are the same ones that exist Apex, since they all run off the same engine. With Titanfall 2 finally falling, it is only a matter of time before things get far worse for Apex players due to hackers, and when that day comes, things are going to get a hell of a lot worse. People should be putting pressure on EA and Respawn to fix these issues, if not for Titanfall 2, than for the Apex community, because as the recent attack shows, nobody is safe here, and nobody playing any game related to Titanfall should have to deal with hacking issues like this.

I think this game is great but unfortunately this version of the game doesn't work, for some reason it keeps crashing on my pc, and apparently that's a common issue with pc gaming wiki outright saying this is common and not knowing if there's any way to fix it.

Edit: I found a fix https://steamoss.com/app/235210/discussions/0/2575445991822522940/
That has worked for me, so no more crashes, because of this I can now recommend the game more since I'm actually able to play it through without fear of loosing my progress

This is the game that I feel is important in insomniacs history for what exactly it means, it was the second game they released that wasn't on a Sony platform, but it the first franchise that felt as big as games like Spyro or Ratchet, and truth be told it lives up to those series legacy for the most part.

It's an amazing game full of insomniac charm, punk culture, and the thing insomniac does best, weaponry, so for that reason you should buy it. But be forewarned this was a time in insomniacs history where I feel they were going through a bit of a midlife crisis and not in the best way, there's a couple moments of forced meme humor and some pop culture references that felt kinda dated even when the game came out (especially in the dlc where they just make a joke about it) which very much miss the mark in regards to humor, there's also a few moments where I feel that they try too hard to go with the funny meta Deadpool 4th wall jokes and while it occasionally hits it also misses a fair amount, still though not terrible and it did get a few chuckles out of me overall, honestly the worst thing about this port is the fact they for some reason removed the co-op multiplayer (seriously why it was a big element of the original game) and the fact that it didn't happen sooner

I don't know how but they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up this port by suddenly making the game require much higher specs than it used to and frankly it's a little annoying, even on the lowest settings this game requires a lot more than the original for what is very minimal graphical updates

Tron 2.0 ends up being one of those "what if" games to me. I say this primarily because there's so many small problems with this game I feel add up to where I just wonder "what if they were removed or slightly improved" when I initially played this game I wasn't a Tron fan, I had an interest in the universe but I'd never seen the original film. Sometime later I can safely say that this game as a Tron sequel is great. It uses the same idea of having the next generation enter the computer world like Tron Legacy did, but instead hands the honours over to Jethro(Jet) Bradley, son of Alan Bradley and the (late in this game) Lora Baines, who created the original Tron and Yori programs respectively. So much of the original Tron movie is captured here and there's even small little references here and there to the movie like the game starting out with someone wanting to eat some of Alans popcorn and from there it just keeps on going. As a what if expansion of the tron universe you'll be hard pressed to find something better as a sequel than this, even as much as I like Legacy as a pure Tron sequel this game out does it.
However the game that's attached to this Tron love letter isn't the best sometimes and that's what weights the experience down in my opinion.
There's so many small flaws and issues with the design of this game that frankly do my head in. This like the time it takes for programs and permissions to download, the fact that you have to backtrack for energy so much considering your weapons, program downloads and even some doors require it. The slow move speed amplifying how annoying this is, the sheer power of Zlot attacks late game to corrupt most of your weapons later in the game and make it so you have to wait 5 or 6 minutes of real time behind cover for your weapon arsenal to be back in action. The lack of checkpoints or auto saves even save prompt reminders (I'll admit that's kinda my fault for being spoiled by modern games).
The fact of the matter is, it's the small problems in the game that present themselves so frequently that drag this game down for me and it's a shame.
As a Tron sequel this game is amazing, but as a game the small problems just slowly add up and make it frustrating or even annoying to play at times.
Soooo what's my verdict... well I honestly don't know... I know Tron fans will love their time with this, objectively even if you're not a Tron fan this game has a lot of cool ideas in it. But at the exact same time I do find it just annoying to play most of the time because of the aforementioned issues... my honest advice at this point would just be to give yourself infinite energy and a maxed out download speed stat at the start of the game. Maybe up the ingame speed a little as well using the ingame console commands, yes some will argue it's cheap but it'd make the game a lot more enjoyable in my opinion and frankly without those problems it's easily worth the sale price of 2.82€ or your regional equivalent. Just make sure to install the killerapp mod by LDSO they fixed a lot of the other problems the game has like fall damage issues, lack of widescreen and a few other issues here and there, as well as adding weapons and skins exclusive to the xbox version and getting multiplayer back online. Seriously major props to those guys for their work
Edit: Upon recently going back into Tron 2.0 I found it's possible to start the game with "gold cheat" enabled when playing the killer app version. This gives you gold versions of all weapons and programs from the very start of the game and maxes out all your stats from the beginning of the game. While some can and will argue that this makes the game cheap (and honestly I'd normally agree) it does make the game more enjoyable and removes some of the annoyances I had while playing it. The game is still plenty challenging even like this and I think that this will make the game worth playing
