Early Access Review
I was wondering why this game is only getting "mixed" reviews so I looked and saw that everyone is complaining about one of two things: Difficulty or saving. Here are the mitigation techniques for both of those "issues".

Difficulty: Don't take fights you are not ready for and follow the tips in the tutorial on how to engage enemies. This game is designed to be punishing. Risk vs Reward, baby. Otherwise you are just playing an interactive movie.

Save: Upset that you cant save scum? just use your brain. There is a "Save and Quit" feature and a "Load" feature. If you think saving at the inn or even the craft-able bedroll item is too inconvenient, "Save and Quit" before you enter a dungeon. Then hop back into the game and delve. If you are about to die simply click the "load" button on the in-game menu. and find yourself right outside the dungeon at your last save.

People complain that this game is too hard. While there is a lot to learn, it is because this game has a lot of depth both in gameplay and in world building. Stoneshard is a great game but you cant veg out while you play. If you don't like using your thinky bits then I would play something else.

This game used to be pretty fun, but now its a masochist's game unless you play killer and and always choose the "Very Easy" difficulty in vidya. Survivors keep getting nerfed, and killers keep getting more and more bonuses. New Killer shows that developers encourage camping. While this was frustrating before, it could be worked around by grabbing generators while the killer was distracted. Newest killer, however, has the ability to set traps that grant vision and teleportation to any 10 areas on the map. This gives her the ability to camp multiple locations at the same time. The downside to this omnipresence? N/A.
