I usually play action, RPG, indie, FPS, or TPS games. Not really a good TF2 or CS player. Mainly because of the potatoes I've used until late 2015 that run these games below 30 FPS with frame stuttering every 20 seconds (It really screws up your gameplay). I'm mainly a causal gamer, and not very competitive in games. I play it just for fun. It's just a game so no need to take that stuff very seriously, unlike some people, who become super toxic in competitive games (regarding ninja's controversial tweet about how "the phrase 'it's just a game' is such a weak mindset," that's totally fine if you want to get better and "never settle," however, it does not give you the excuse to get angry)


I first joined steam to play Terraria, because back then I liked Vanilla Minecraft and Terraria was a really similar game to it. I discovered Terraria about a week or so before it was released (Early May 2011, I was told it was going to be released June 1st but it released earlier). After a few months, I joined steam and got Terraria (Early September 2011). I did think about getting Steam earlier because TF2 became free around that time and I realized that Terraria and TF2 were both on Steam, but I used to use an even crappier laptop back then (Intel Celeron processor) and I thought it would be slow. And I was right. So I didn't play TF2 much until I started using a laptop with an Intel Pentium processor and 4GB RAM that I got in 2013 which could run TF2 way better, but was still pretty laggy. Now I'm using a much better computer (specs near bottom), so I don't have crappy fps as an excuse for sucking anymore. But now my brother uses it most often to play his stupid overwatch game forcing me to use the crap top again. And with the overpriced computer components, it looks like I'm going to be stuck with it for a while.
