I like euthanasia... when it's directed at deranged old men hoarding all the firewood.

Early Access Review
This really is the Dark Souls of Diablo games.

No, but seriously. Featuring a far more complex, yet somehow more intuitive character-skill building system, the more slow-paced dodge-rolling combat system of a Souls-like and an epic soundtrack to boot, this game learnt from its predecessor(s) very, very well. It's been a true pleasure to play through the first two Acts so far multiple times to improve different characters so you can cover a few different situations.

The bosses are memorable and engaging to fight, and though you can trivialise most of them with sufficient aggression, they are well-designed and can still give you a run for your money.

It's early access, but GGG sure didn't relent on the Whetstones... because this is QUALITY.

2 years ago I fell into a deep, dark abyss filled with sorrows, a place of love, flowers made of iron, angels gone, terrible histories and fantastical tales...

And then I started playing Library of Ruina. No, but all jokes aside, this game has taken me on a journey through the stages of grief many times, and consumed hundreds of hours of my life I would gladly spend again to simply experience it all over again, with characters and a rich world that feel so real as to be painful. Its sequel, Limbus Company may very be one of the best games I have ever played, and this one is not too far behind either as what started my descent into the Hell that is this City we live in. Yes, I love it so. May we Lament ever more, for TEN YEARS if that is what it takes to see that future we so fear and build.

Expect brutal combat where the difficulty is more vertical than the Eiffel Tower, but the BIGGEST difficulty will be coming to accept the fact that you can never hug the robot woman. You will either learn the meaning of insanity or how to accept yourself, but perseverance will earn you satisfaction.

Expect hundreds of hours of riveting voiced dialogue and amazing storytelling that just keeps you coming back for more. And inspired you to play all the other games. And read their comics.

It's that kind of hole. A rabbit hole. But there is no Wonderland here. Enjoy your stay!

Do you enjoy pain?

Do you ever find yourself wondering what it would like to live in a world where your value as a person is eclipsed by that of mannequin with a baton who turns out to be history's greatest thief?

Do you like to experience terror beyond the mortal fear of death? To see the flesh of your dearest friends twisted and broken in unusual and terrific ways?

Do you fantasise about working in an environment where lunch breaks are a luxury and may be your only salvation from the spine-shattering and mind-bending horrors that will become part of your work day?

Have you ever wanted to come to know the sheer extent to which humanity will sink for just an hour more of watching its favourite Dungeons and Dragons podcast?

Well, then look no further! For today, you too can work at Lobotomy Corporation, where the fruit of your imagination will feed your common man and light the path to a brighter tomorrow you may never live to see. Your blood, sweat, and many tears represent an indispensable asset to our work, as will be your mind. We hope you won't miss it.

Do you love your city? We do! Through combined effort and your valiant sacrifices, we may provide power to our glorious City for many years to come.

By accepting this proposal, you agree to surrender your life and death to us and that there is no expectation of ever returning home to your families. Your days may stretch on indefinitely into an unyielding haze until such a time that we deem fit to release you from the vast and eternal cycle. You will however retain no memory of any possible terrible demise that may or may not befall you.

You agree that your safety is your own responsibility. You will receive a standard-issue firearm for self-defence, however lacking experience is legally not our problem. Counselling is a luxury afforded to our most senior agents, however you will be expected to regularly report for a psychological evaluation every 3 days. Grief and trauma is not an excuse for failure to perform your duty. We reserve the right to terminate your contract for any reason. Be happy, for fame and fortune await you.

May the Wings favour your odds. Let us face the fear, and walk toward that brighter tomorrow, together.

(Just make sure to download the Optimisation mod from Nexus due to a minor memory leak problem.)

I got hit by a ray of light, and now I'm stuck in Minecraft.

I started my isekai adventure as a clueless little spelunker blob in a subterranean world, and now I am an arch witch with a burgeoning ore-mining industry and a highly successful farm to help me conquer the world. Don't ask me how the plants get any sun. Maybe the ancestors know.

Find priceless loot and discover lost artefacts and weapons of yore that will return the power of Star(bound)!

Learn the secrets of the underground (no, it's not like Undertale) and the civilisations that once existed there through old-school gameplay of figuring things out by yourself as you fell ancient beasts and claim their soul like you're Shang Tsung or the Chosen Undead to power a big stone tear drop that gives you ominous advice!

Die a thousand times with your friends and significant others and blame one another for your mistakes as you blow each other up with reckless explosives!

All this and more in Core Keeper, in which Stardew Valley and Starbound had a kid... except Stardew Valley was an absentee father and couldn't teach the kid awful fishing techniques and the meaning of the night and day cycle.

I’ll tell you this. The tunneling mine cart ride NEVER ENDS : D

Can't wait to see what lies beyond the impenetrable darkness.

A fantastic delve into the horrifying reality of The City from the perspectives of a bunch of Grade 9-6 scrubs. Easily some of ProjectMoon's finest work.

Where in most gachas the story takes a backseat to the money sink of collecting cosmetics and unlockable characters, the reverse is absolutely true here, leaving the whole premise of the gacha a simple option rather than a requirement for progression.Of course the various gacha content has its allure, as it is useful and PRETTY, so you'll get your money's worth if you decide to spend it. Almost every aspect of the random number generator is fair, exceedingly so, and the game is quite generous with the resources it provides as you play. Anything can be obtained with enough time, and nothing is truly exclusive.

Those elements aside, the game suffers from the usual issue of teaching its players to understand the game, but the gameplay is still very enjoyable, and as said, the cast and their stories are fantastic. This truly is the game which gets better...and BETTER over time.

Please, don't miss out on this just because of appearances.

9/10 Best not-gacha ever

Would recommend: Hell yea

Would cry again: Natch

Would stab my captain in the heart: Nah

Would find my compass again: Oh yea

Would erase all caches only to dream the impossible dream (of getting all the lovelies and proceed to distort): Hell yea

Purgatorio, here we come!

I beat up real estate agents and mob bosses with my fists and iron cranium.

This is a game about the struggles of living on the other side of the law, finding purpose and doing what's right no matter how hard it is, while grasping at the future with your bloodied hands. It is also about helping dominatrixes find their courage, beating the disco king on the dance floor and becoming the best mini-car racer the world has ever seen,

I have now become The Dragon of Dojima, and the legend will be penned in (my) blood!

This isn't a game. This is an experience. And the experience is eternal torment, a 12000$ fine, 50 years in jail and the knowledge that your husband of 30 years will leave you for a funeral worker.

I don't have a husband.

The rules and regulations are inconsistent and completely removed from reality. I broke a traffic rule for "stalling the engine" when I stopped to avoid rear-ending a car in front of where I was driving, and I failed a course for crossing the finish line for... missing the arrow by a hair's breadth? This happens constantly. It also plays terribly on controller.

Game Rating: no (throw it in the bin)

The dog can throw hands, a psychopathic comet is trying to slice her friends up, and an apex predator enters the fray with copious use of gun and POI. What more can you—

**YO DAYO! *BONK***

Ah, right.

Online play is currently in beta, and there are a couple of rough spots and glitches. The game could definitely benefit from a more in-depth tutorial for beginners to learn more about each character, and how their combos might work, such as in Skullgirls. Aside from that, this is a pretty neat product you can add to your library for the low low price of zero zilchs.
