BOPL BATTLE YEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to experience what it is like to play this game, it is possible to do so without paying money.

Go to the top of your keyboard, press F5, then wait 30 seconds, and press F8. That is the entirety of the experience you will get with this game. The steam data says I've played for 32 hours, yet my file says I've played for 16. That's how much time I've spent on the reloading screen because of how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the RNG is.

The characters are 2 dimensional. The 'combat' has the pacing of dental surgery without anesthetic, meaning that it drags on for an eternity to get through one turn. The writing and plot is basic if you have any experience with any fantasy tropes. There are much, much, MUCH, better fantasy games than this. Go play Divinity instead if you /need/ to play a CRPG. I still have fond memories of geomancy and messing around with effects in those games. I have no idea how this is the game of the year when there were so many better options released in 2023.

I am forcing myself to finish it, but I do not like it. At all. I'm most of the way through Act 1, and judging from what the community says about the other acts, it gets worse and more rushed. I hate this game, and I hate that I spent 55$ on it. I keep going because I'm in too deep and I can't get a refund, but it's not too late for you. Don't buy it. Use your money for something better, like paying a credit card bill or a speeding ticket. Go pay an e-girl you like and get her to say your name once if that's what does it for you. Go pay someone to punch you in the face. Do anything besides buy this game. Anything is more enjoyable than this bloated pile of data masquerading as a game.

This is a fun game until the final boss. It's difficult, but relatively fair. Action's good. Art's good. Narrative is good. But then you meet the final boss.

It goes from pretty fair to infuriatingly cheap. I enjoy challenges but this guy is one of the worst final boss I've ever fought,

He can teleport. He can summon mobs. He has an absurd amount of health. He becomes invulnerable at least 5 times throughout the fight. His attacks take 50% or more of your health at a time unless you are built very tanky. His basic spin move takes up at least 33% of the map. You are screwed based on what sort of AI you get from him; if he is constantly summoning skulls, you're done. It is awful. And you only really figure out how awful it is after a 30-40 minute+ run, then you lose, and you get to restart to once again see how awful it is. I had a broken build that had invulnerability and life steal built in, and that's the only way I won.

I don't really like roguelikes in general, but this boss has given me a migraine. I'll probably continue because I'm stubborn but I doubt it's for very much longer. I wouldn't recommend unless you're a glutton for punishment.

This would probably be a lot of fun if I could save my game and progress. Unfortunantly, I can't due to GfWL. I have tried modding around it to no avail. So, I have to give this a 0/10. I have spent 3 hours trying to get it to work. I can't. I love GTA. But I spent 20$ on something that's unusable and uses a discontinued service for extra arbitrary verification. That's unacceptable. Anyone reading this; save your money. Buy GTAV. It's a better game, and it doesn't give you the giant middle finger.

Don't buy this.
Spend it on Hello Kitty Island Adventure. At least that's playable as opposed to this PoS.
