I'm not really a fan of this one, didn't really grip me as much as the Myst series and the puzzles weren't that fun to go through. Characters didn't really offer any guidance or advice to a total stranger on how their own systems worked which was a bit odd to me. Definitely has a similar vibe of Myst, with getting thrown into this world that you are supposed to slowly understand. However it just doesn't feel as welcoming or encouraging to pick apart. Not really sure if I should recommend this or not, didn't really hit with me but your mileage may vary

Hellraiser DLC funds went towards an NFT without informing those that bought it. I don't support NFTs and I don't support this business practice

Pretty awesome horror game and a mostly faithful recreation of the original. Difficulty is pretty good for the most part except for one puzzle that I had to look up because it required knowledge of the Korean language that wasn't really explained in-game as well as it could have been. Pretty good replayability too which is rare for horror games, requiring at least three different playthroughs on multiple difficulties to see at least the bonus storyline and the bonus ghosts. Absolute steal if you can get it on a discount

Man I'm really disappointed in this game. The music and art style is really cool, but the lack of polish in terms of gameplay and stability really spoils the whole experience. Levels are either bland or cluttered to the point of making traversal confusing, sometimes songs will fail to play or double up with other songs which requires a restart to fix, and collision detection leaves a lot to be desired. Just buy the soundtrack or watch it on Youtube because you'll just leave this game frustrated otherwise

Compared to the first game, it's a bit of a mixed bag. Some of the chapters are and gameplay changes are much better than those seen in the first, but others are totally half-assed. That goes for the plot as well, there's a lot of creepy fanservice stuff that was nowhere to be seen in the original that just feels incredibly forced and out of place here. It's a very hit and miss game.

Most confusingly however, performance and stability in this port seems to be noticeably worse than the previous game. I've seen sprite errors, framerate drops, and even holes in the map you can fall through. Port-wise, it's really poor quality but for the most part it's stable.

It's worth a play if you liked the first game, but don't expect a flawless experience.

Good for a laugh, great atmosphere and writing with a very promising direction so far. However, the game is not very long in its current state and updates have become very scarce and there is little to no communication from the devs on any new progress. At full price of ten pounds I cannot recommend it as anything more than a proof of concept until it has more content outside of the same lines and routes from the live show.

Pros: Interesting time travel mechanic with a time machine that functions practically identically to the Delorean from the Back To The Future Films, even down to a hover conversion and a Mr Fusion in everything but name. You can come across your past self if you misjudge your time and place and watch them repeat your previous actions.

Cons: The hunger system is not very fun to deal with, forcing you to either stop what you are doing to buy snacks or finish missions as quick as you can in order to not starve. This becomes more annoying in the second act, where food is harder to come by. The combat is also not very refined, with weapons behaving more like physics objects with a secondary function of either firing a projectile or causing damage.

The story also feels quite strange. Behind an EA game this is mostly subject to change, but the pacing seems to wander quite a bit. There is also an out of place religious element in the second act that doesn't really relate to many parts of the story, with a very abrupt moment where the questline is halted so the Doc Brown character can pray in a church. It is not explored or referred to again so it just ends up being a strange tonal shift. For the final release I really hope the writing is refined a lot more than what is currently available

Overall though, in the state the game is in at the moment, you get some interesting if janky mechanics and a hit and miss story with quite a considerable amount of translation errors and a few progress-preventing bugs. But aside from that it is probably the best time travel-based game I have played and I look forward to what comes of it

Boring third person shooter. Melee weapons feel the same apart from different animations and the combat gets dull really fast. Might be fun lore-wise for Warhammer fans, but it's just silly to me
