The lewd content is on some offapp website which is annoying and it was pretty mid anyways. It wasnt long before i was skipping past all scenes.

As a PKMN clone though, this game is great. It has all the quality of life feature that shouldve been adopted a long time ago. The story is great too.

Worth it for Porgy alone. But you get an extra 49 games.

Sequel to the free game Elona. A sandbox roguelite thats very difficult but interesting. I enjoy playing the pianist class and getting pelted with rocks while entertaining the masses.
Play the Elona first so you know what you are getting into. Not for everyone.

Broken in the best way.

For most game having a lot of bugs is bad. In this game the bugs let you quickly complete milestones that would take forever otherwise. Its fun to play around with the mechanics and find the bugs that break the system. And the game is free.

well i WAS having fun...

As with a lot of platformers, in this game you can hold down and press jump to fall through certain floors.
Except when you cant. This game will randomly bug and the drop through function will just cease to work. Have a great run going? Too bad. You jumped up into a corner to get loot that dropped only to discover this basic function broke and you are stuck up there.

And this bug has been present for 2 YEARS! just search "neon abyss cant drop through floors."

Beware: This game has in insidious method of making you play one more run.
First its incredibly fun. Second, if that wasnt enough, they line up all the things you can unlock/new character dialogue in a line leading back to the dungeon entrance. So even if you end a run and think "that was the last one" you see the dialogue indicators and the unlock NPCs and next thing you know youre at the entrance again and back on the loop.
Seriously this game is great though. Perfect difficulty and good post game content. And its still Early-Access. Ive encountered few bugs. Very worth.

Great game. Between working and sleeping I played it nonstop for days. I will add a couple caveats though.
The first is the map feels very empty/unfinished in some areas. Its very clear which regions got attention and which ones were just generated and populated and forgot about. But its early-access so that's to be expected. If they keep working on the game, I'm sure that'll be fixed.
The second problem though is a design choice, that I personally don't agree with, which is the long process to make your ideal maxed out pal. If you want your pal to have a certain 4 passive skills you have to mess around with breeding, which alone is a process because there is a lot of RNG and time-gates. Then if you want to 4 star them after you need to get a hold of 116 dupes and merge them into your pal of choice.
Overall I had a lot of fun though.

I think it has to do with the small ship size, small bullet size, and lack of speed. Playing this game remind me of the old Atari game "Asteroids" or the Apple II game "Dogfight". Which i guess makes sense given the title.

Nice atmosphere. Fun to get lost in.

I bought this game and was having fun. There was some ideas i had for creating a party when i started but when i looked up the answers, online comments said certain thing werent possible. Upon playing long enough i found out they absolutely are.
One of the problem of this game having such a large portion of gameplay out in early access for a long time, is that a lot of the information out there is out of date. This is rapidly changing of course, but vet your info you consume about it.
Chances are the things you want to do are possible now.
As for gameplay its great. Cant recommend more.
