Codemasters still has not fixed the terrible multiplayer from previous games. You'd better hope that guy who takes ages to load actually loads in, because you will have to wait for every player and there is no way of leaving the lobby while this happens outside of closing the game all together. This is particularly annoying since multiplayer is the only real way to play this game unless you like doing time trials endlessly or driving around ♥♥♥♥♥♥ AI in career mode who don't seem to understand they can overtake or defend on the first lap. I would give an opinion on the ranked but I still haven't been able to connect to a lobby to play any of it.

No real improvement from last year outside of the overtake button making the controller usable in a competitive manner and the my team mode which will undoubtedly get tedious as your car becomes overpowered against mindless ai drivers.

This is quite possibly the worst multiplayer experience I have ever had in a game. You have to wait for every player to load which might sound like a good thing apart from the one guy in every lobby who just never connects. Not only that, it doesn't give you an option to leave the lobby during this time, you have to leave the game, shut it down and open it again to join another lobby. This game has been out for months and this bug has existed for it's entire lifetime. I don't think codemasters are bothering to fix it.

hard to get into but when you do you want to get better and better all the time. the amount of things you can do is astounding.
