Chucklefish have been putting tons of love and care into this game awhile now. I have been following the progress and updates. I took a decent break from the game but stayed up to date with what was going on. When the 1.0 Update hit I was amazed and am now in love with it again.

The story is rich and boss fights have very intresting mechanics. The combat mechanics have been reworked alot since I origionally played which is really nice. I love the combo system as well as alot of weapons have special abilites (ex: 2Handed Hammers/Shockwave). The music never ceases to inspire me or make me wonder more about something. It is really easy to mod now with.

One thing I was a little bummed about was the trasiton to full release did wipe my previose data but the reason they did it makes sense so i can accept it. Its now a full release game so it makes sense. One other thing that I think is a little weird but I am ok with it is the fact that food rots now(can be changed in steam workshop with mods).

So to summerize this game:

Pros:
- Really Nice Story
- Intresting Boss Fights
- Tons of Worlds to explore
- Combat Mechanics are really nice
- Amazing Music

Cons:
- Older Computers sometimes have a issue loading planets
- If you played it before the 1.0 Update your data is gone

Another thing i would like to mention is at its core it is a Sandbox game. If you can dream it you can build it and once you beat the game or even right off the back you can put mods in and change it to fit you.

One of the best Indie Platformers I have ever played. I absolutelly love the combo system It makes kill feel really satisfying, The Sprite work is really nice and clean and the level design in amazing. Steam says i have 5 hours on it but i have played atleast 32-48 hours offline also. It is well worth the money you pay for it if you enjoy platformers.

This game is realy good, It has such a compeling story behind it that makes you feel like you are actually making the choices. I love the art style.

This is a great game! It is really fun and really close to diablo very addicting and once you get started you cant put it down. Personal Favorite Class is Necromancer! it also keeps being worked on nonstop!
Alot of people do dislike the mana update that happend near last halloween. Personally i think it was a good update made it feel more like a RPG.

Trove is a great game it can be a little grindy but it is free to play so its to be expected. I love the concept of the game and it is made by a great team. they listen to there players and it is almost completely a fan based game players can submit their desings to the reddit and forms and if they are liked enough they get into the game lots of classes so you are sure to find one you like. Overall its a great game 10 outta 10!

I want to start by saying that I truly do love this game. I have invested so much time into this game learning it. I have so many good memories with friends playing the game and messing around. I have also quit multiple times cause I got bored of the game and needed a break from it to play something new. I have done it all and then some. However I do have some issues with the game.

The community can be very very toxic at times. Sure toxicity is something that is inevitable with a game. Especially a game with a heavy competitive scene. I would say 1 in every 5 games that I play I experience someone who is just unpleasent to be on the team of. Personally I did not as much of a issue with the game going F2P as most.
Are there smurfs running around more? Yes but for the past 5 years that I have played this game there have always been smurfs. Are there more hackers running around? To be honest I would not doubt it however I do believe the average player can not tell the difference between a hacker and a smurf though.

My experiences with this game are mixed. I cant honestly recommend the game but I can't not recommend it either.
