Adol ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Christin? HELL YS.
A classic remaster of the 80s Ys game that includes 2 Ys games with PSP Remastered Artwork, though still quite blurry it has its charms. Not very long but you can grind it out a little. Solid Game and one for the ages. Recommend if you tried out 8 and wanted to know more of Adol's adventures and where it began, but if you want to skip thats fine too, you can jump to any of the other entries since they are mostly standalone adventures with few returning cast members.

Edit: It doesnt take 5 hours to complete both gamess. For some reason the review only took YS 1's playtime, but it should be about 15hours on average if you are going for some achievments and might take longer for all.

TLDR at bottom. (Spoiler free for those who have at least seen trailers)
I have really mixed feelings to this FG, I really like it and its fun, but ranked is the worst among all FGs ive played since its on a Delay+Rollback netcode with no punishment for cheating/quitting (I do understand that some people have abrupt issues, sometimes my electricity goes out too) but this is among all the fighting games the most toxic, Ive known people, myself included yell slurs at this game and its players. Its a 3D Fighting game as well so it is very different if you're used to SF or Guilty gear. If you are an MK player you are welcome to try a real fighting game :)

The game rewards massive aggression and ungabunga, it is very mash friendly and overall if you are not willing to put time into learning matchups for a massive roster you will have a bad time. I spent a lot of time getting to Raijin and I had my fair share of trouble, but overall its still the same old tekken, with an added spice of aggression.
The real issue starts coming in when youve played enough to realise there are way too many situations in this game where you are forced into a Rock-Paper-Scissors or RPS situation where you have to guess properly or eat 50% of your life in a match.

The next part: The story. The main story featuring the Mishimas conclude here (?*) but other than them, the rest of the cast dont really have much added to it and thats fine. Overall the main story was great especially between Jin and Kazuya. [SPOILERS] The REAL issue I have with this story is in the extra chapters that explain what happened to heihachi in tekken 7 and why He is alive. I really love the character and his gameplay but I cannot deny the way they brought him back was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sloppy, to the point that what happened in the story doesnt add up to his intro of 'You thought some measly lava could kill me'. Massive inconsistency here, not to mention the Big Elephant in the room that is Reina . But that one is up to you to decide, should you get into it. Not everyone cares for the lore after all but this one was really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wierd.

Overall: Actual game itself is a solid 8/10 there are some characters that are overtuned.
Online : 1/10 ♥♥♥♥ all the ungamentals. Wont recommend it to the short tempered. Extra: There is something going on around about getting DDoS'd playing this game but I cant confirm.
Lore/story : Main story is a 8/10 but the Expanded story did ♥♥♥♥ all. 4/10
Music : Its always a banger + They have jukebox on PC this time

The cash shop stuff doesnt bother me at all. Capcom has been doing this same ♥♥♥♥ and so have other games. Its a bit late to ♥♥♥♥♥ about 'being fair' and 'lied to' this is 2024 do you really think a corporation like bamco is any better?. If you dont like it, I really dont suggest buying this game because its only going to get downhill in terms of monetising it since it already has a paid battle pass

TLDR
7/10 Buy if you really like Tekken, If unsure grab on sale since this is a very expensive title. Stay away from online unless you have strong mental fortitude and have survived enough ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from life you have a grey beard and mentored at least 500 students. If you dont like greedy corpo definetely stay away. I wish I could give this a mixed rating

Solid entry into the series. For something that is in FPP it doesnt take away from the classic resident evil feel of the game, like Resident evil 7 did (Which was also still fantastic). Great continuation for the story of ethan winters and we get to see a boulder bro in this game. 9/10, DLC is okay too but would grab that one on a sale.

Pleasantly surprised they managed to get this to run better than the demo.
Highly suggest if you like dmc/action kind of games, in fact it kinda plays more like DmC than a FF Game. A departure from the standard JRPG formula for the series but there is some tedium in the side quests. Still a pleasant experience despite that and has a banger soundtrack.

FSR3 May give you a boost with framegen but for best results try using Lossless scaling for framegen and other scaling options, dlss preferrably for best results (for non 40 series gpus)

Edit:

Nevermind. Some sections of this game run so ass it literally starts playing in slow mo. Do not recommend unless you have a 40 series GPU or a higher end Radeon RX 6800 or above

Solid game, really loved the writing for this one. There are extremely frustrating moments if you don't plan and use resources sparingly so be careful with them should you choose to purchase. There are some goofy bugs here and there but nothing too bad. Highly recommend if you already like older arkane titles like dishonored.

It took one voice actor/character for the entire expansion to be shat on lol (The JP dub was better for this one ill agree). The Story isnt as great as ShB or EW, this much was to be expected but its still fine enough, a good chunk of people will just skip the cutscenes anyway, this is an MMO, but for those concerned the pacing and execution of this story will be slow, not as much as a slog as ARR and no character can be worse than Lyse from Stormblood.

The new jobs, The changes and additions to the existing jobs and new combat content are all great and so are the locales. The best part this time around are the fights, theyre the most fun theyve been around in a long time with the new trials and raids out.

For the new players, if you do buy this expansion having only owned the base game you will receive Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions. Overall, still worth a buy. Every MMO will have its moments of content ups and downs but this isnt such a big dealbreaker that I would say 'Game is dead', in fact its more lively than ever and the content so far has been nice enough.

Decent game if you're into card/deck roguelikes. Music is charming and art is lovely. The Story isnt that terrible not that great. Its no slay the spire but its not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. Worth on a sale.

Overall rating for this dlc I'd give it an 7/10.

The good:
Difficulty isnt too bad once you get scadutree fragments but there is still ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ involved. Please use summons or spirit ashes if you are having trouble, disregard the toxic elitists.
Added some nice lore too (wont spoil anything) with miquella and other things that werent in the base game.
The new weapons and spells are fantastic and add a lot of variety to the gameplay. I somewhat still enjoyed it enough, but I do have more to say on this.

The cons:
The soundtrack is nice but I still feel its lacking a bit, but still a solid 6/10 I just have strong nostalgia of the older souls games and prefer those.
I really dislike Open world games but fromsoft's was fairly good to the point I can ignore that its open world, however the shadow realm at times does feel very empty and traversal feels like a chore. The map is huge and that works both ways as a pro and a con.

The enemies are hard as heck to stagger now and the bosses... are a bit lacking for the most part, a few good here and there that REALLY stand out but on average arent that great and the dungeons are really long and feel like a waste of time considering the loot isnt that great especially doing it for just one or two items, the Upgrade materials are pointless considering most people playing this now likely already have access to all smithing stones except for the final upgrade, though I understand they left some for people who jumped right into it with newer characters.
The Optimisation is iffy. Used to get a comfy 60fps and all of a sudden the framerates drop for no apparent reason?

Not really much bad to say its a decent expansion but not that great. It will take a while to get through the game because of the collectable collection and likely be a challenge, for me it wasnt but I played it with an overleveled character so I cant speak for all here and even then I felt I was lacking in defensive stats. If you dont have a lot of time on your hands I would'nt recommend getting into it just yet. My biggest disappointment is that it doesnt really add anything to the endings of this game as far as I know.

Disclaimer: Do not buy any of the DLC. All of them are part of the Deluxe edition, and most of them are Items in game that can be earned easily through play, except for the camping set which is pretty much only cosmetic. The rift crystals are the same as Red orbs in DMC5 and Art of metamorphosis is in the game itself

Character creation's really well done and the gameplay is about as you'd expect, fast and fluid. a big improvement over the first game in every way, however it runs like an old person with severe arthritis and crippling asthma. Problems are beyond just the fact that denuvo is on this and the CPU usage is ridiculous, this crap engine already gave me issues with SF6 and they decided to use it for an open world game, Yippee. Game struggles to maintain 60 and dips to about 30 in towns. In its current state Its really badly optimised and will probably take some time to get patched, or modded. Really stupid that this is yet another AAA game that came out terribly on PC.

NOTE: You cannot delete your saves (A PC only issue) and you have only 5 Devices you can install this on.

Would Only recommend this game if you have a good System and are willing to compromise with console framrerates. Would love to give it a mixed option but for its current state on launch its a 6/10 Solely carried by the gameplay.
I am not defending Capcom's greed and their underhanded business tactics but this is a fantastic game and cant wait to see it get fixed if ever, but judging by the fact that its tied to NPCs and towns are populated with a lot of them, I cant imagine it getting fixed anytime soon.

This in all honesty should have been Capcom's easiest win but they fumbled on what is essentially one of the greatest open world RPG experiences.
