More fun than it has any right being

Great MMO whether you're searching for something casual or a new main game.

I've played around a thousand hours before the launch on Steam and mostly play solo when I have some spare time or a new main story bit as part of a Living World season or Expansion comes out.

The way the gear and leveling system works you're never at a disadvantage if your can't play for a while or don't have much time to invest in the game since there are pretty much never any new item tiers coming out and invalidating your current gear. Any new items you unlock are strictly cosmetic.
The story and production quality on the story instances is also great and only gets better as time goes along and new expansions come out.

As a free player you get access to pretty much all of the base game as well as the first two Living World story episodes (that's everything before the first expansion Heart of Thorns). Any additional content will have to be bought separately (there is also a bundle for everything on Steam!) but Living World episodes can also be unlocked for free if you log in once before the next episode releases.
At the time of writing there are three expansions and five Living World seasons available which add tons of new maps and high quality story content.

Since the core game is free to play there is a cash shop called the Gem Store where you can buy EXP boosts and cosmetics but in general the game is not pay to win. You can even trade in-game gold for the premium currency at a fairly reasonable rate.

The community is very friendly and someone is pretty much always willing to help out if you're stuck and the Wiki is probably the best I've ever seen for any game.

It's free so no harm in trying it out!

Pretty much all changes they made like Specialists, Gamemodes etc. are for the worse imo.
In addition its completely broken in its current state from a technical standpoint.

Kill things fun

This might be the best game I've ever played.
Very good graphics, excellent soundtrack and exciting boss battles. The characters are very memorable and well thought out.

perfect game for killing lots and lots of time with...

Beat Saber is by far the best VR game I ever played. Looks and plays great and has an amazing community behind it.
There are also quite a few mods which among other things enable you to play tons of cutom maps!

Normally I don't like Early Acces games but this was the best Early Access experience I've ever had this far.
The game gets updated frequently and there are significant improvements in gameplay or performance after every patch.

In terms of gameplay this is by far the best Battly Royale game there is at the moment.
There is a good amount of different weapons to choose from with very different handling and great animation.
At the moment there is only one map but there are at least two more in development an due to the nature of Battle Royale games you still get a different experience every game.
As of now you have the choice of either playing from third or first person perspective with first person being more of a "hardcore" experience.

As plenty of the other reviews already say there is a microtransaction crate/key system in the game which is pretty badly made, but since there are only cosmetic skins in the crates this is not a huge deal for me or anyone I know.

Since this game is still in Early Access you will still encounter bugs and wired glitches but looking at the patches this game received I'm most of it will be resolved.

A whole lot of fun!
