Early Access Review
In general, VRChat is a competent social VR platform that currently sports
the largest user base when it comes to that kind of game category.

The company made in the past a couple of bad decisions when it comes to implementing features
and is more then capable of annoying their player community, but always found a way to mitigate it.

VRChat Inc. now made the decision to implement a security update in the near future, that would prohibit the usage of mods.

Why is that a bad thing you might ask yourself.

A new user to VRChat would see the game in it’s current state as it is and would find the game appealing because of it’s broad spectrum of content that this platform provides.
To be precise, VRChat is dominating the market when it comes to the social VR games category.
That’s where most of the appeal for this game stems from.
From its appeal, widespread news about VRChat and its massive community.

Over time the user has to face problems in VRChat that are so trivial that it creates an environment
where they have to face the question as to why the company
hasn’t either fixed or implemented it, yet.

That is where the modding community comes in place.
They are the ones that create QoL mods that help easing the way through VRChats lack
of thoughtfulness, initiative and creativeness.

The modding community reached a point in VRChat where you could compare them to Nexusmods and Bethesda games.

I do not support VRChat with their decision of blocking mods, with an update in the making that will block all forms of moddinng.
Therefore I have cancelled my subscription for this game and will give the game a break for now.
