Honestly this game is just so much fun. The controls are tight, the mechanics are simple and the variety of guns is massive. There's so much do do, so much to unlock, so many secrets to find, and so many gun puns to laugh at.

I mean who doesn't want a shotgun shell that shoots shotguns? Right?

FTL is a near flawless game that is, in all aspects, amazing. From the variety of Randomly generated missions to the ship layouts to even the crew names. The whole experience is immersive and engaging. You feel bad when a crew member dies and when you finally take down the last stand you feel amazing. It's challenging and slightly luck dependant, but with the right mindset you can conquor anything the game can throw at you. Also the music is incredible.

This game is simply amazing. The art style alone is beautiful and fits the steampunk feel to the game. The music is excellent and the gameplay is very well done. There is a vast strategic element from designing your ship to personal loadouts to actual in game manuvers. It's a wonderfully done game.
