This game at it's best when you're attacking bases with your friends in stealth. Unfortunately, the open world design really works against it in this context. Respawning enemies and the constant random ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ inherent to modern open world games can really screw up the execution of a good plan.

If this was the only mark against the game, it would merely be unremarkable like Far Cry 5. However, this is one of the buggiest triple A releases I've had the displeasure of playing. Mission markers break, the AI of enemies and allies seems to be just as done with the experience as the players. We've had issues with buttons unmapping themselves in the middle of gameplay. We had the drone key stop working randomly, the gain altitude button also stop working correctly. I'm okay with some jank in open world games, there's a lot of stuff to test. But basic control issues are completely unacceptable. Despite this, we still had a good time. Our enjoyment was at the expense of the game though. We were playing as a good group of friends, roasting it like a bad B movie.

It's unfortunate that this is what we call a modern Ghost Recon game, but I'm honestly not suprised.

It's okay I guess.
