Early Access Review
So now that I've played a few rounds of Hellbreach: Vegas solo and a few rounds in co-op, the verdict is rather modest. Even though I am aware that this game is mainly developed by one person, the gameplay feels extremely unfinished. The controls (movement) are awkward, the graphics are passable thanks to Unreal Engine 4 (no, not 5), but nothing more. Of course, the gunplay doesn't come close to Call of Duty etc. and that's how it plays. And atmospherically it doesn't really hit the spot for me either, which is a real shame. Because the potential is definitely there.

But since it only costs around 9 euros, it's still okay. You can play it for a few rounds every now and then, but I don't see it lasting long.

Nevertheless, I wish the developer continued success during Early Access and if it comes out as a "full release", I'll be sure to check it out again!

Rating: 50/100

UPDATE: (12.03.2024)
I looked at my review of the game again today and told myself that the "not recommended" is not justified. It's a one-man project, which is a strong achievement in itself, and just because I don't like it 100% overall, it's fair to give it a "Recommended".

I know that when I changed the review from "not recommended" to "recommended", all the previous Likes were reset. But I feel better about it now. The content of my review remains the same and I still stand by it!
Good luck for the future! :)

After playing it for almost three hours now and finishing chapter one, I can say that I truely enjoy this one. Amazing dialogues, so much story and lore stuff to read and a kinda new and interesting combat system. The different kind of characters and the great atmosphere make the game more fascinating! Looking forward for more stuff to see and explore!

Hey Robocop fans outta there!

Even though I would like to say a few words about this game here, you should know that this is (once again) not a real review. Thanks for your understanding. 😉

So what's the best way to start? The game is a terrific adaptation of the popular RoboCop movies with - admittedly - a few unpleasant things that don't get a thumbs down in my recommendation for this review. The atmosphere in this game was too ingenious, captivating me by the second. The story with the main missions and side missions were mostly captivating and great - some were actually boring or just strange. The stories and the background of the protagonists and some of the sourpusses were wonderfully funny, but also profound - especially when it came to Alex Murphy. The ability to influence the story largely through your own decisions really appealed to me and I'm glad how the story turned out in the end.

The feature that you can improve your character with many skills was logical and well implemented. I also tried to make RoboCop as "human as possible". And everyone has to find out for themselves how this is possible. 😊

Now you probably want to list some negative points, right? Ok, of course they're part of it. But it's still important to know that Teyon is a small development company that somehow managed to win the rights for Terminator and RoboCop. And rightly so, in my opinion.

Well, now to the negative:
As I briefly mentioned above, there were some quests that were either just boring or even illogical and not really "appropriate" as far as RoboCop is concerned. But as long as I got my XPs for it, that was bearable. I also have to say that the gunplay was extremely negative. If you were involved in a shootout with several enemies, you had to struggle more to aim properly. I know what the developers were thinking, but aiming is an absolute cramp that you can't otherwise imagine. So slow and inaccurate. You had to sleep with the "bad aiming" to get to grips with it, especially in the later stages. But what I like to emphasize again and again: Just try to always aim upside down, it'll go faster 😉 Another thing I didn't like was RoboCop's very slow movement. And before the hardcore RoboCop fans jump on me. Yes, I know that RoboCop is a robot that generally moves slowly and inaccurately. But in the game I found the movements really "exhausting" at times. But you can cope with that too. And yes, there were also some in-game bugs that made you wonder why you hadn't seen them before. For example, I once saw a police officer in the station whose face was suddenly twisted 180 degrees (*) and I felt a bit sick at the sight of it. Or that I saw a "flying" cigarette at the petrol station. Or spurting blood that was just "hanging" in the air. Yes, there were bugs like this in this game, but also in many other games. That's why there's definitely no thumbs down for me in the review.

To summarize, I can say that the 23 Euros I paid for the game were very much worth it. Just as was the case with Terminator: Resistance. Teyon knows all too well how to "integrate" 80s/90s flair from movies into good games. I really hope that more movies will make it into games in the future from the hand of Teyon!

Jurassic Park - 16Bit (SNES)

FINALLY, after what feels like 30 years, I can save the game in Jurassic Park - 16Bit (first SNES game). AND, above all, play it to the end. Because back then it was very, very annoying when you played for 3 to 5 hours and after restarting the game EVERYTHING was gone again. Great to have the save option now. I also love the new feature to have the whole map ingame.

I don't actually know any of the other 6 games in the collection and I'm going to have a look at them.

It's also nice that Steam Achievements are included, too!

Absolutely recommended for every retro fan of the 90s and for all Jurassic Park/World fans!

Never before have I canceled a campaign as quickly as this one in Modern Warfare III. Really sad!

UPDATE:
Just refunded! Also MWZ ("Modern Warfare Zombies") is really boring and loveless...

How is it possible that a 29€ game feels like a real 70€ game, but most 70€ games don't even feel like a 29€ game?

The Talos Principle 2 can do it and that's why I'm going to have a lot of fun with it. Thank you Croteam! <3

This 'One Dollar Game' could be the best Indie game that I ever played on Steam. And this has a simple reason:
The developer of this game is such a great person and a very "community-loved" person on Steam.

I played the game already two times with the developer himself and it was always a pleasure. While playing with him, he gifted you many skins, gave you many tips how to manage specific situations and has always a helping hand if you ask him anything about this game. Such a great developer! <3

And concerning the game itself, it's really a fun game to have even much more fun playing together with others to shoot down everything you see and to explore the great tunnel maps with secrets etc...

My rating:
98/100

P.S.:
I have a great feeling that a "Blood & Bacon 2" is coming.... ;-)
